Chapter Three
Sheridan couldnt understand why she keeps on getting more and more gifts for two weeks straight. She is constantly thanking Roberto for sending them.  Except, for one night, Roberto came over and Sheridan was not at home. He wanted to surprise her. He examined these gifts carefully.  I wonder who is this coming from? What the hell is going on?  I dont understand it . . . who is sending my girlfriend these gifts?  He buried himself in frustration, trying to trace the one who has sent it to her. But he ponders on whether or not should he do it. Hell let it slide for now, his main concern is to take Sheridan away for vacation. At the Crane mansion, Sheridan sits in the living room, contemplating about this anonymous presents she has been receiving.

Luis is in distraught of whether or not Sheridan has got the hint that its him sending her these presents not Roberto.   Luis had to go over to the Crane mansion to pick Pilar up. Little does he knows that Theresa works there, too.  Pilar is already at home, sleeping.  Theresa opened the door and she saw Luis.  Luis?!  She fretted. Theresa, what the hell are you doing here? I told you not to come near the damn Cranes!  He merely yelled. Suddenly, she caught his eye.  Theresa, you never told me, she lives here?  He is paralyzed.  Luis . . . thats Sheridan Crane.  She replied softly.  Sheridan walked over to the commotion she thought she had heard coming from the foyer. Theresa, is everything all right? Once Sheridan looked up at who the stranger is. She recognized his face in an instant.

You? How do you know, Theresa? Sheridan is completely baffled. Im her brother.  Luis showed chivalry towards Sheridan by kissing her hand. Theresa didnt respond the whole time. She wanted to observe and take notes to see if her impression of whats going on is right.  Nice to meet you. Theresa, I have to go now. Have fun, I need to rest and I dont want to be bothered for tonight.  Sheridan removed her hand from Luis and greeted Theresa with kindness and left.  Luis has a blank expression on his face. Theresa came up from behind while Luis stood there motionless. You like her, dont you?  Theresa could tell what was going on.  Theresa, her name is Sheridan Crane, right?  He turned to his sisters curious expression. Yes . . . but Luis . . . I wouldnt get on her wrong side. Shes such a nice lady and . . .  Luis hushed her.  Theresa, not another word, were going home and well discuss about you working here in the morning. Okay?  He led her out and was kind of furious with Theresa but at the same time, he was thinking about the sensual Sheridan Crane.

Im going to make her notice me. Even if it kills me! He contemplated. Sheridan went to her cottage and seemed very astounded by the way her room is set up.  Sheridan, this is all for you.   He came up to her with a kiss and carried her into the bedroom.  Whats all this for? I . . .  Roberto smoothed his lips over hers and captivate the moment by moving on her with a frantic passion burning inside him.  You are so wonderful to me, Roberto. Sheridan moaned and they put their differences aside and made sweet passionate love.

Its been three months and Luis will stop at nothing to get what he wanted, Sheridan. He wants her so badly, there were times when he blew off his dates with Beth. He did it inadvertently but he always made it up to her. Not tonight, he realized that Theresa is going to be at another Crane party and he is going to get what hes been looking for . . . Sheridan.  Luis is all decked out with his black tuxedo and smiled at his sister once he arrived with his sister.  Luis, what made you want to come here with me, tonight?  Theresa asked on purpose. She knew why but she wanted him to answer anyway.  Theresa, I want to see whats it is like, thats all.  He nonchalantly replied. Whatever you say.  She laughed.

Sheridan is looking extraordinary tonight.  Her lavender dress showed off her slender frame and her curves is catching every mans eyes. Too bad, Roberto isnt here to share this evening with her. He is called away on business to make a deal with Ricardo Marconi in Italy.  Sheridan drowned herself with some fine wine and turned down every man who asked to dance with her.  Luis wasnt going to take no for an answer and hell be damned if he came out tonight for nothing.  Luis walked up to her and kissed her hand. May I have this dance? Luis politely asked.  Yes . . .  For some reason, Sheridan didnt want to refuse his offer. Its sweet and sincere, yet irresistible.

Sheridan and Luis pranced out to the dance floor. Luis romanced her with his sensual touch. Something she didnt have so much. Luiss eyes turned her on.  Why do you keep on appearing in my life?  She finally quizzed him.  I dont know, maybe this is trying to tell you something.  He bantered.  Sweet.  You are such a good dancer.  Shes moved by his debonair ways which seduces her to crave for more of him. So handsome he is. What is it about him that makes her find him intriguing?  So, you are Theresas brother?  Sheridan interrogated with skepticism. Yes, I am . . . and I just here with her tonight. Because I wanted to make it up to her for embarrassing her in front of you three months ago.
Sheridan nearly forgotten about that day. Dont worry about it.  They have danced for four hours, just staring at each other without uttering another word.  Time is up.  Sheridan responded alas.  She broke free from him and decided to go to her cottage. Luis couldnt believe she got away again.  Theresa told him she is ready to go home and go to sleep.  Luis didnt argue because he admitted that he is beat, too.

A new morning has dawned and Sheridan glanced outside. She saw that her mail is delivered.  A bouquet of daisies appeared with an invitation.  Meet me at the Seascape Restaurant, tonight at eight. Dont be late.  Your secret admirer.  Sheridan beamed to herself. Roberto needs to stop playing these games. I will tell him that tonight once I meet him at the Seascape restaurant.  She laughed and shook her head.  Before getting dressed she went to see Ivy.  Hello Ivy. How are you?  She greeted Ivy with a hug. Im fine and you?  Ivy returned the favor. Im good.  Sheridans cheeks are glowing. Sheridan, I havent seen you this happy in years. Did it have something to do with Theresas brother?  Ivy inspected.

Sheridan glinted at Ivy wide eyed. No!!! Thats preposterous!  She chuckled. I love Roberto. Anyways, Im going out for tonight, so well have to reschedule our plans for tomorrow, ok?  Sheridan told her. All right, have fun and be safe.  Ivy gave her some motherly advice. I will.  Sheridan rolled her eyes playfully. Bye Ivy.  She smiled.  Goodbye, Sheridan.  After Ivy closed the door. She have a soliloquy with herself.  Whether Sheridan knows it or not, I believe Theresas brother will have an impact on her life more than shell realize. She better make sure she circumspect her relationship with Roberto before she goes too far.  Ivy sighed and went upstairs to make other plans.

Sheridan spent most of her day trying to figure out what to wear and how she wanted her hair and makeup.  She has it all picked out and finally she is ready to jazz herself up.  Sheridan always look beautiful but this time she has outdid herself this time. Sheridan wore a Versace gown made of white silk trimmed with golden flowers all over.  She looked like a fairytale princess. Her hair is layered with soft curls and her make suits her outfit superbly. She is all ready to go and is on her way to the Seascape restaurant.

She arrived there at eight oclock sharp and she is anxious to see what Roberto did this time.  Sheridan saw the table and made her way there. She waited to see if hes there and he hasnt shown up. Its fifteen after and she is ready to leave.  She sighed and got up. Of all the nerve.  She grumbled. Going somewhere?  She shook when she heard his voice. She faced him. You?  She is astonished by what she is seeing. How?  Luis pulled her chair out for her, leaving her utterly confounded and planned to keep her that way for tonight. You thought I have stood you up, didnt you?  He grinned slightly.

You could say that.  She said dryly, while taking a sip on some water. Its a pleasure to finally meet you, Miss Crane.  He curved his lips some more. Same here. I . . . its just something about you . . . I strike to be a mystery.  She is blushing a tad. I hope not in a bad way. Miss Crane.  He chuckled. Sheridan, call me Sheridan.  She assured him its okay to be comfortable. They have eaten dinner and danced the night away.  After having so much fun. Luis walked her up to her cottage and gave her sweet peck on the cheek goodnight.
