| JUSTIN CARROLL David Hastings Justin Carroll joins the cast of �Passions� in the contract role of David Hastings, a mysterious man who arrives in Harmony looking for Grace. Carroll, who is half-Irish and half-English, was raised in Greece, London and Rome. His mother is the former British television actress Angelina Halley and his father is the renowned travel author, Michael Carroll. His most recent television role was Nigel Gibney on Showtime's �Beggars and Choosers.� His other credits include the films "To Protect and Serve", "Shame" and the short-film, which he wrote and produced, "Which Way to Oz?" Justin is also a stand-up comic, who plays regularly at comedy clubs in Los Angeles. Carroll is single and lives in Los Angeles with his dogs. He enjoys kickboxing and writing. Justin was born on September 25. |
| CHRISTOPHER DOUGLAS Antonio �Brian� Lopez-Fitzgerald Christopher Douglas joins the cast of �Passions� in the contract role of Antonio �Brian� Lopez-Fitzgerald, a character who is abruptly thrust into the lives of the citizens of Harmony and who has great impact on the lives of four core characters. Christopher's previous daytime credits include contract roles on �One Life to Live� and �The Young and the Restless.� He has also appeared in the telefilms �Shadow Warriors� for TNT and �The Pick Up� for Showtime. Douglas has also made guest appearances on �Burke's Law,� �Honor and Duty,� �Saved by the Bell: The College Years� and �Married with Children.� Additionally, Douglas has modeled for fashion designers Gianni Versace and Giorgio Armani, appeared in ads for Old Spice and the National Dairy Board, been selected as one of YM Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful Guys" and appeared in Tori Amos' video, �Cornflake Girl.� Born in Clinton, Tennessee on August 26 and raised in Knoxville, Douglas currently resides in Southern California as well as Montana. Christopher has a deep fascination with and respect for his Native American heritage (his mother's family is Cherokee) and has taken an active interest in tracing his family roots. When he is not working, Christopher enjoys all outdoor activities including archery, hiking, canoeing and fishing. |
| JOSH RYAN EVANS Timmy Josh Ryan Evans plays Timmy, Tabitha's "one-of-a-kind" friend. At the age of 12, without telling his parents, Josh printed his own personal business cards and hired his own agent. This landed him his first part in a nationally run commercial for Dreyer's/Edy's Ice Cream entitled "The Dancing Baby." Due to the popularity of the Dreyer's Cloe Award winning commercial, Josh was tapped for his first feature film role in Columbia/Tri-Star's "Baby Geniuses." His television credits include Ally McBeal, where he plays the part of Oren, a young attorney of prodigy stature, and the arch nemesis of Calista Flockhart's character. He is also featured in the A&E miniseries P.T. Barnum, in which he plays the lead role of "Tom Thumb," and in "Poltergeist: The Legacy" for Showtime. Evans played the young Grinch in Imagine Entertainment's "The Grinch," starring Jim Carrey. Evans has received two consecutive "Soap Opera Digest" Awards for Outstanding Male Scene Stealer for his role as Timmy. A native of Hayward, California, Josh was born on January 10. He is currently attending high school, and is working on a book about his own life experiences as well as a series of children's books called "Learning Little by Little: Life Lessons for Little Ones." |
| ANDREA EVANS Rebecca Hotchkiss Emmy Award-nominated actress Andrea Evans joined �Passions� in the recurring role of Rebecca Hotchkiss, the manipulative, rapacious social climber whose ambition is to reign over the Crane Emipire. Born and raised in the Midwest, Evans began acting with a job as an extra in Brian De Palma's "The Fury," which ultimately became a featured role. She was soon cast in the television mini-series "The Awakening Land" and her performance garnered the attention of ABC casting executives, which lead to her long-term contract role as Tina Clayton on "One Life to Live." Evans other notable daytime roles include Tawny on "The Bold and the Beautiful," and Patty Williams Abbott on "The Young and the Restless." Additionally, Evans credits include a recurring role on "Capitol News" and the films "Opposite Sex, " "Low Down Dirty Shame, " "Ice Cream Man" and "Ghostwriter." Evan's charitable interests include Amnesty International, Global Relief, the Special Olympics and a variety of AIDS fundraising and research organizations. In her free time, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband Steve, their dog Motown and their cat Ernie. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening, working out and she is an ardent baseball fan. | GALEN GERING Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald Galen Gering plays Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald, the ruggedly handsome oldest son of Pilar. Luis harbors deep resentment for the Crane family, but is in love with the beautiful Sheridan Crane. A native of Los Angeles, Gering graduated from the University of Miami with honors. While pursuing his education in film and creative writing, he began modeling and appearing in commercials. In addition, Gering was recently featured in two independent films, �Road Trip� and �Pistol-Whipped.� Although �Passions� marks his first television series appearance, Gering�s face should be recognizable to viewers after his inclusion in People Magazine�s list of the 50 Most Beautiful People for 2000. | BRUCE MICHAEL HALL Reese Durkee Bruce Michael Hall portrays Reese Durkee, the Harmony High School class "geek" who has a major crush on Kay Bennett. Born on a rural farm in St. Joseph, Missouri, Hall moved to Los Angeles four years ago to attend the University of Southern California, where he obtained a bachelor of arts degree in theater this past spring. Hall modeled while attending school and has appeared in national advertising campaigns for products such as Lipton Tea, Michelin Tires and the Urgent Gear clothing line. His television credits include NBC�s �Sunset Beach,� as well as �The Bold and the Beautiful,� �Big Bad Beetleborgs� and NBC�s Saturday morning series �One World� and Digital Entertainment�s �Frat Ratz.� Hall�s hobbies include making his own furniture, singing, dancing and horseback riding. | KIM JOHNSTON ULRICH Ivy Winthrop Crane Kim Johnston Ulrich portrays Ivy Winthrop Crane, the governor�s daughter and the beautiful and socially prominent wife (in name only) of Julian Crane. Ivy longs to rekindle her past with first-love Sam Bennett. Johnston Ulrich is best known as Diana McCall, on �As the World Turns,� a role she played for two years. | JAMES HYDE Sam Bennett James Hyde plays Sam Bennett, a well-respected police chief who adores his wife Grace and their children. Born in Lancaster, Ohio, Hyde began modeling and acting at an early age. | AMELIA MARSHALL Liz Sanbourne Amelia Marshall joins the cast of �Passions� in the contract role of Liz Sanbourne, a woman who owns a small restaurant/hotel and who plays a pivotal role in the lives of Harmony residents. Amelia's previous daytime credits include contract roles on �All My Children� and �Guiding Light� as well as a recurring role on �One Life to Live.� Other television credits include �The District,� �Lizzie McGuire� and �Cosby.� Amelia has appeared on Broadway in �Big Deal� and �Harrigan and Hart� and toured nationally in �Cats� and �West Side Story.� Her other theater credits include �Minor Demons,� �Coming Apart Together,� �Skyline� and �Applause.� Amelia has also appeared in the operas �Porgy and Bess� and �Treemonisha.� Born on April 2, Amelia lives in Los Angeles, CA with her son Marshall. |
| BROOK KERR Whitney Russell Brook Kerr plays Whitney Russell, the daughter of TC and Eve Whitney is a champion tennis player, but is discovering there's more to life than just a tennis racket. After graduating from high school, Kerr moved from Indianapolis to Los Angeles to fulfill her dream of becoming an actress. She soon was cast in guest-starring roles on NBC�s �City Guys� and �Saved By the Bell,� as well as �Smart Guy� and �The Steve Harvey Show.� �Passions� marks Kerr�s first contract role on a television series. | LINDSAY KORMAN Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald Lindsay Korman plays Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald, the beautiful daughter of Pilar and fianc�e of Ethan Winthrop. Korman was a national pre-teen talent winner of the Young Miss America Beauty pageant. Well-known for the variety of roles he has played on series such as "Heartbeat," "Murder She Wrote," "Diagnosis Murder," "Touched by an Angel" and "Sisters," Masters has also acquired a long list of made-for-television movie credits such as "Noble House," "Deliberate Stranger" and "Celebrity."
