| NBC Daytime Goes Country...Again! The stars of NBC Daytime will make an encore appearance in Nashville for Fan Fair 2002 on Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16. Stars from "Passions" and "Days of Our Lives" will be greeting fans and signing autographs at the NBC Daytime booth in the Nashville Convention Center, as well as making special appearances at various events throughout the weekend. | Andrea Evans Honored by City of Hope Andrea Evans (Rebecca) has been named the 2002 Celebrity Ambassador for City of Hope's Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer. Andrea has actively supported the City of Hope for a number of years. She has a particular affinity for the biomedical research and treatment facility, as her mother is a breast cancer survivor. This is the second year in a row that she will serve in this capacity. Walks for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer is a national series of family-oriented walks that will take place in approximately 30 cities to support breast cancer research at the City of Hope. Steve Mackel, Senior Director of Development for National Events at City of Hope, says "Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer is proud to have Andrea Evans as its 2002 Celebrity Ambassador. Her support and dedication has not only contributed to greater public awareness of this devastating disease, but also to the continued success of Walk for Hope. Andrea made the following statement about her role with City of Hope. "I'm honored to have been named the Celebrity Ambassador again for the upcoming Walks for Hope, and I hope to be able to continue spreading the word about the extraordinary efforts being made by the City of Hope to find a cure for breast cancer. Last year the walks raised over $2 million for research and I am committed to making this year's walks even more successful. I know that by walking together we can make a difference and help win the fight." The City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute, a National Cancer Institute designated Comprehensive Cancer Center located in the Greater Los Angeles area, is one of the world�s leading research and treatment centers for cancer and other serious diseases including diabetes and HIV/AIDS. | Passions is On The Radio! Radio personality and entertainer Rick Dees makes his soap opera debut, as himself, on Tuesday, March 5 only on "Passions!" Rick presents a 'WHAMMY' award to Whitney as an excited Chad looks on. As we've already reported, Sean Valentine, another huge radio personality, will be guest-starring on "Passions" on Monday, March 4 as "Fred the Florist." What do Rick Dees and Sean Valentine have in common? In addition to guest starring on "Passions," and both having nationally syndicated radio shows, they are also both hosts of their own radio program on Los Angeles and Orange County local radio station KIIS-FM!
