Father: Martin Fitzgerald, who disappeared without a trace when Luis was a young boy. Luis has always believed the Cranes were responsible for his father's disappearance, and has vowed to find out the truth about what happened to his father.

Siblings: Theresa, Miguel, Paloma (who lives outside of Harmony with an aunt) and Antonio (who disappeared shortly after their father did)

Education: Harmony High School. Luis, a straight A student, was accepted into Ivy League colleges, but opted for the Police Academy instead, so he would be able to help support his family.

Occupation: Cop for the Harmony Police Department. Hopes to make detective soon. Luis also runs the Harmony Youth Center.

Romantic History: Luis' high school sweetheart was Beth Wallace, but he wasn't able to commit to her after high school because he knew he had to put his family first.

Current Romantic Ties: Luis fell madly in love with the beautiful Sheridan Crane and the two were planning to wed. Unfortunately, tragedy tore them apart when Sheridan was presumed dead at sea. Unbeknownst to Luis, Sheridan is really alive but has amnesia!
