Born-romantic Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald has been in love with handsome, wealthy Ethan Crane since she was a young girl. She became fascinated with the pictures and articles she saw of Ethan in society magazines and of course, the stories about Ethan�s warm heart that her mother, the Crane�s housekeeper, would tell her.
When Ethan came home from law school last year, Theresa finally met the man of her dreams�but let�s just say their initial encounters were less than auspicious! The first time Theresa met her Prince Charming, she spilled paint all over him�followed by barbeque sauce, fish guts, and eggs! After all that was cleared up (so to speak!), Theresa was able to continue her job as the personal assistant to Ivy Crane, Ethan�s mother. As a result, Ethan and Theresa began spending a great deal of time with one another, especially when Ethan�s fianc�e, Gwen Hotchkiss, was called away on business. In fact, Theresa�s misfortune at having been trapped into planning their wedding turned into a blessing when Theresa and Ethan traveled to Bermuda to check out a honeymoon resort. There was a lot more than fragrant flowers in the air in Bermuda�romance was in the air, as well! Ethan began developing feelings for the lovely Ms. Lopez-Fitzgerald, and finally at her prom, Theresa revealed to Ethan her deep love for him.
Ethan tried his hardest to deny how he felt, but after Theresa nearly died in a motorcycle accident, Ethan could no longer deny his love. Father: Martin Fitzgerald, who disappeared without a trace when Theresa was a little girl.
Siblings: Luis, Miguel, Paloma (who lives outside of Harmony with an aunt) and Antonio (who left home after their father disappeared).
Education: Theresa recently graduated from Harmony High School.
Job: Theresa has had an interesting career path in the last year and a half. She started out as a waitress at the Burger Hut but when she burned that down (oops!), Luis forced her to get a job at the Fish Cannery (much to her disgust)! She was promptly fired after accidentally spilling fish guts on Ethan. After that, Theresa�s dream came true when she was hired as Ivy Crane�s assistant. (After all, as Ivy�s assistant, she could be close to Ethan). There was only one catch�in order to be Ivy�s assistant, Theresa had to disguise herself as a geek! Eventually, Theresa was able to shed the geek look and she remains as Ivy�s assistant today. Theresa hopes to one day pursue a career in fashion.
Romantic History: Two words: Ethan Crane. For her entire life, Theresa has been in love with Ethan. In a magical twist of fate, Ethan and Theresa became close friends during this past year, and eventually Ethan began falling in love with the beautiful Theresa. Theresa�s dreams recently came true when Ethan called off his wedding to Gwen so he could sort out his feelings for Theresa.
Goals: To marry her one true love, Ethan Crane, and share a wonderful life together. And to have a successful career in fashion.
