My Bible

My Bible has sixty six books.
The road map to heaven it is,
I feast upon the words divine;
Each page, each letter, each line.

The Bible is the word of God,
The best seller in the world,
Every home should have one,
To use , to keep to, to store.

The dust accumulates sometimes,
Cause folks don’t read its pages,
but if they knew as I know now;
There would be no hesitation.
For there is life within its pages.
The blood covers every line,
Our Saviour died and gave his life,
In order to save mankind.

You can read it over and over,
Then go back over it again,
And every time you will find,
What you need within the lines

I often open up the book,
Let pages fall where may;
The scripture that my eyes fall on,
Seems to be what I need for the day.

The word is filled with wisdom,
It’s granted from above,
It’s His desire to grant it to you,
Along with knowledge as you
read it through.

You should read it daily
It’s a lamp unto you feet,
It’ll bring you throught the darkest hour.
And put running in your feet.
