Ocicat

The Ocicat looks like a small wild spotted cat, but is in fact a fully domestic breed originally created by combining the Siamese, Abyssinian, and American Shorthair. There is no wild blood in its ancestry. "Ocis" are active, affectionate, and very social. They are accepted for show only in the spotted pattern, but in several different colors. They are also available in many other patterns, such as classic, mackerel, and ticked tabby, but these are considered AOVs (any other variety) and are not showable. Despite their wild appearance, they are friendly, outgoing, people-oriented cats without being clingy or obnoxious. They are intelligent, devoted, highly adaptable companions. The Ocicat is accepted by most major cat registries.
