British Shorthair
The British Shorthair is a stocky, sturdy cat resembling a plush teddy bear. It is a calm, quiet companion. While blue is the color most associated with the breed, "Brits" are found in a number of other colours and patterns as well. It is accepted in most colors and patterns, except colorpoint. This breed is simply known as the "Shorthair" in Great Britain Associations. British Shorthairs are accepted by all major associations.
