AN
INTERESTING FUNNY STORY
Well I
guess I became a Tom Jones fan in
the
60's. I had been married for about
two
years. My husband and I decided
to
have a baby. Nothing seemed to
happen, so we went to my doctor, she
tested
us and everything was fine, there
was
nothing wrong with either one of
us.
The doctor started me on medication.
This
went on for almost two years, and I
was in
a very depressed state of mind, so
the
doctor stopped all treatment. She told
me to
stop thinking about getting pregnant,
how
does one do this! I wanted a baby so
bad!
Well I could not stop thinking about
it and
I was getting more and more
depressed. My husband was very
concerned
and
comforting with me. One day I was
at
work and my girlfriend asked me, "have
you
seen the Tom Jones Show" I said no
she
then said "Oh he is so hot and what
a
voice". So the next week I put The
Tom
Jones Show on.....and I was an
immediate Fan. I joined his fan club,
and my
husband took me to see
Tom at
the Copa......and guess what
I
stopped thinking about getting pregnant
and I
had a beautiful baby girl born on
July
3, 1971. I often joke
that
Tom Jones got me pregnant. Thinking
too
much of getting pregnant stops you from
getting pregnant. My daughter's name
is
Kim....at three years old she was dancing
and
singing "What's New Pussy Cat". She
knows
all of Tom's songs! On one of
my
birthdays she took me to see Tom
at
Irving Plaza as a surprise! Well
Kim is
now 36 years old and is
expecting twines in June.
