Welcome to my never-ending Gundam Wing
story. I hope you've enjoyed the
bumpy ride so far, cause I'm not done. :P (Where do I get this shit?!)

Notes:
As we all know Mariemeia kidnapped Relena. And well,
Heero didn't like this
so he decided to go after her. What will happen, I wonder?

Chapter 14: Forgotten Memories
By Yuki-hime
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Relena was content to sit by her window and gaze into the sky. Or
even finish the paper work that had been on her desk the past week. But
she definitely wasn't content on sitting in the passenger's seat, being
kidnapped with a woman who drove like crazy AND had a gun. 'I think I
must be cursed,' she thought as they rounded a corner. She glanced over
at the speed gage, and her eyes nearly fell out. "Umm, Mariemeia,
I don't
want to seem like a stick in the mud but, going around corners at 80 miles
per hour IS a little dangerous. Don't you think?"
"No," she simply stated as the car hugged the next curve.
"Please Marie...."
"Shut up, Princess," she cut her off.
Relena sighed. 'Yep, I'm definitely cursed,' she thought as she
checked her seat belt to make sure it would work in the case of wreck.
Relena sat back in the seat and tried to relax. 'You know there's always
a possibility of you dying, so why are you afraid?' she asked herself.
She glanced at the girl behind the wheel. Relena's eyes softened
a little. 'Maybe... I can understand,' thoughts whispered to her. She closed
her eyes. 'Heero, where are you?'
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Duo and Hilde stood by the entrance to the mobile
suit carrier.
"Will Heero be okay?" she whispered.
"I hope so," he replied. They stood there, watching Heero work
relentlessly on Wing Zero. They had come upon a malfunction in Heero's
Gundam two days ago and had stopped so it could be fixed.
The job originally thought to take a few hours lasted two days.
And Heero refused to even take time to rest. He was spouting nonsense and
talking to himself constantly. The others were not only worring
over his
health but his sanity, too.
"Duo," Hilde whispered.
"Hai," he said softly.
"We'll find her?" she asked.
"Of course," he said and smiled at her. "Don't ever think
anything
different."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Relena had fallen asleep in the car, how, she didn't know. The
woman drove like crazy! She awoke to a hand shaking her.
Groaning, she opened her eyes and saw a pair of ice blue eyes
staring at her. "Get up," Mareimeia ordered
and pulled at Relena's arm.
"Where are we?" she asked, sleepiness in her voice.
"Somewhere where your pilots can't find you," she said her voice
flat.
Relena gazed up at the house that stood before her. A
two-story
used-to-be white house. The shudders were falling and seemed to be painted
a burgundy, but Relena couldn't be sure, for the color was fading. The
front yard was small and over-grown with weeds and wild flowers. The
picket-white fence was a dusty off-white that matched the house and had a
few missing and roiting. Relena's mouth formed a 'o' in the amazement of
what she saw.
"Is this where you live?" she asked.
Mariemeia pushed the young woman. "No, now shut
up and walk."
Relena sighed and walked the short distance to the front door.
Heistantly, she turned the knob and the door swung
open in a creaking
manner. Her eyes widened at the sight.
Reguardless of the way the house looked on the outside, it
definitely didn't look like it on the inside. There was fine furniture
in the hallway and living from what see could tell in the hallway. The
walls looked newly painted, and the floor was spotless. Relena didn't think
that she could trust anything she saw. And Mareimeia
was one of them.
"Go," she said as she pushed Relena on. They headed towards the
back of the house. Relena caught glimpses of paintings, fine furniture and
orinatel rugs before she was jerked back by her hair.
She screamed at the sudden pain and the tears ran down her face.
Then she heard someone chuckling and she opened her eyes to see a man. He
had black hair and the deepest blue eyes she had ever seen. "Shhh, Relena.
You don't want to attract unwanted visitors, ne?"
he laughed. "Mariemeia,
let her go," he ordered and turned around to walk the opposite direction.
"She'll show you to your room," he said over his shoulder, and then
was
gone, disappearing around a corner.
"Come on," Mariemeia said. Relena detected
a hint of annoyance in
her voice.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Heero looked out the window of the shuttle. His eyes dropped and a
few seconds later, his head jerked up and his eyes were open and alert.
Not sleeping for the past three days was getting to him. He felt a hand on
his shoulder and turned to see the person. 'Should've known,' he thought.
"Heero you need some sleep," Duo said with concern.
"Go away Duo. I don't need you to tell me what you think I need
and don't need," he snapped.
"If you don't get some sleep now, then I'll make sure you get some
when we get home," he said before turning on his heel and walking away.
'Well, that was a different Duo,' he thought. But Heero knew his
advice was for the best. How could he help Relena without sleep? He couldn't
that's how. He told himself he'd closed his eyes for a few minutes at least.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Relena found herself in a room of deep purple velvet and gold
tapestries. The bed was set in the center of the room with tables on either
side, a mirror across from the bed and a balcony on the other side of the
room. There was a small table set with a mirror across from the bed. There
were two doors, one of which lead to a bathroom and the other a closet.
She could still feel Mariemeia's presence behind her.
"I hope you
like your new prison," she laughed and smiled, closing the door.
Relena stood there and glanced around the room. "Heero," she sighed
and sat down on the bed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Heero stood on the edge of a cliff. "Relena," he called.
"Heero," her voice replied in a sing-song way.
"Where are you?" his echoing voice questioned.
"Behind you," Relena giggled.
Heero turned and saw her smiling. Her dress was a deep burgundy.
"Where have you been?"
"Home, Heero, of course," she smiled again and began dancing away.
"Wait Relena!" he yelled and shoot up in
bed.
A cold sweat covered his face and upper torso, and his breathing
was heavy. He pulled himself from the covers and stood up.
When had he been moved? He opened the door and walked out. He was
at the colony? That couldn't be right.
"Heero," a voice echoed through the coridoors.
"Duo," he yelled. "Where are you?"
"Heero, wake up," Duo lightly shook him. His eyes darted open and
Heero flew up and out of bed.
"Where are we?" he asked.
"We're visiting Une. Don't you remember?"
"No."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Relena woke to the sounded of faint laughter. 'Must have fallen
asleep,' she thought as she rose.
She glanced around at the room again. Something was different.
Then her eyes caught it. There was a dress of deep burgundy laying
on the
chair across from her.
Rising she walked to finger the fabric lightly. Velvet.
Then her
eyes caught a note.
"Put the dress on," she read aloud then glanced down again.
"Might as well," she sighed and gathered the dress and accessories.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Heero followed Duo out to the main room. When they entered, everyone
fell silent.
"Have you been able to find anything?" Heero asked as he sat down
at the nearest chair.
"No, I'm afraid not," Hilde replied.
"Don't worry, we'll find something," Duo said a little too
cheerfully, so that everyone noticed that he too was worried.
"It won't always be like that," Heero spoke up after a minute.
"We
won't always be able to find her. This time might be different. So you
might want to prepare yourself."
"Heero, don't talk like that," Duo
exclaimed.
"Sometimes you have to face reality," he stated, then stood up to
leave.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Relena had decided to not look at herself in the full length mirror.
The deep rich color of the dress set off her pale skin.
"Heero, where are you?" she whispered as she finished herself and
stood to leave.
"Time to face the music," she said aloud and opened the door.
Relena was met by a man in a tuxedo as she closed her door. He lead
her to the ball room and then left. She felt very awkward, which was new
to her. Usually, she just felt annoied at having to
dress up and prance
around. She guessed that it was the fact that her life was hanging in the
balance.
"You look marvelous, Relena," a male's voice stated.
Relena jumped and turned to see the man. He blantly
stared at her.
The dress was off the shoulders, and very form-fitting. Her shoes matched.
There was a tiara that rested on her head and wraped
in sandy blonde hair.
Her bangs were the same and she had left wisps of the sand-color out,
creating a flowing angel effect that held the on-looker. There was a simple
diamond necklace around her delicate neck, a single diamond ring and a pair
of diamond earrings. All in all, she looked like a procelain
Barbie.
"Who are you?" she questioned, drawing his eyes off her body to
make him look at her.
"You may call me Than," he replied.
"Where are you from? Why did you kidnap me?" Relena asked as she
took a step backwards.
"I'm from the colonies and as to why I kidnapped you, well, there
are different reasons."
"Why not?"
He laughed. "For one thing, I wouldn't be a good bad person, ne?"
Mariemeia walked up from behind Relena, making her
jump. "Than,
are you done with me now?"
"Yes, yes, you can go. But remember to be back soon. I don't want
you out to where they might find you. And be careful around him."
"I will," she replied as she smiled at Relena and then left.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Heero stood at the window. Space was so peaceful. He hated the
feeling he had. The lost, hopeless feeling. Relena was
his beacon and if
he couldn't save her, what good was he? Wasn't he the 'perfect soldier'?
"Relena," his voice softly echoed around him.

So what do you think? I KNOW. It took so long. But now I have a job and
school and college and home! But I have a JOB! That means money for ANIME!

in handy later on, REMEMBER THAT! I could also use letters of encouragement
from my readers. cough-READ-AND-REVIEW-cough I also
read a story called
Weep for the Memory, and for the life of me, can't remember the author. I

Anyways, I want to thank Tigress,
