Chapter 5

"Relena," Heero's voice sounded through out the hallway.
Relena paused and glanced back at Heero before continuing down the
corridor.
"Relena, wait," he said again. This time the voice came
form
directly behind her. He reached out to grab her arm but she turned to face
him.
"What is it Heero? Don't you think you've done enough damage to me?"
she stated, not expecting to get an answer from him.
"You need to have the bullett removed from your shoulder
or it
will be infected," he stated as coldly as ever. "I never intended to
do
you any harm to begin with Relena."
"Well, then you haven't succeed," she said and spun around leaving
a baffled Heero.
"She doesn't understand," Noin's voice came
from behind him. "Give
her time."
"She does understand. She wanted to die," he said as he walked away.
'Why give up Relena?'

"Relena," a voice came from behind her.
She had been so wrapped up in the stars. "Yes," she said as she
turned to see Hilde.
"I'm glad you're okay. But... you need to have your shoulder looked
at. It might get infected," she said slowly.
"It will be fine," she said as she turned her attention back to the
stars. "They're beautiful, aren't they?"
Hilde looked out through the window. "Yes."
"I'll be leaving here in a few minutes. I've called and had a
shuttle come to get me. Noin knows but I've asked her
not to say anything.
She has her orders to stay with you and report back to me anything she
finds," she said. "Tell everyone I said good-bye," Relena
whispered as she
turned to Hilde then moved to leave the room.
"What about Heero? Doesn't he know?" she asked.
Relena stared ahead. "No," she stated and then walked on.

"Where's Relena?" Heero asked as he walked into the control room.
"She's on the shuttle," Noin said as she
gave them the okay to
leave.
"She's where?!" he asked, looking into the monitor.
Her image flashed across the screen. "Noin, I
want you to send me
full reports on anything that you find," she said. Glancing
at Heero
before her image flased off the screen.
"Yes, Miss Peacecraft," Noin said into her
headset. "She's heading
for Earth Heero."
"Understood."

Relena stepped out of the shuttle, earth's fresh air hitting her
like a strong wind. She breathed heavily then started down the stairs.
"Miss Peacecraft, if you will," a man's voice said. He motioned her
towards an awaiting car.
"Yes," she replied quickly, knowing that reporters would be there
soon.
"My name is Daniel Thackers. I work for Noin. She called and asked
if I would help you here on Earth," he stated as they walked towards the
car.
"Otherwise you're my bodyguard," she replied.
"Yes ma'am," he said simply and opened the door for her.
Relena smiled slightly. Even with Noin in outer space
and she on
Earth, she still looked after her. 'I wish he was alive,' she thought for
a brief moment before pushing the memory away. "I would like to go home
first. I need a few things, then we have to go
straight to the United
Nations."
"Yes ma'am," he said as he stepped into the car after her.
"Driver,
go to the Darlian mansion."
"Yes sir," the man replied and started the engine.
Relena sat back and stared at the scenery that passed by. 'Why
didn't you listen to me Heero? Then we would not be in this position,' she
thought.
"Miss Peacecraft," Daniel's voice broken through her thoughts.
She looked over at hiom. "Just call me Relena,
please," she said
and smiled at him.
"Relena, the situation that we are in is a dangerous one. Noin
just wanted me to remind you not to do anything foolish."
"I understand. She's always looking out for me. But you have nothing
to worry about Daniel. I will fight for peace until my dieing breathe," she
said. 'And it might come to that,' Relena thought as she turned her
attention back to the changing scenery.

"Heero, where are you going?" Quatre asked as he came into the
hanger.
"To find Relena."
"So you know she already left?" he questioned.
"Yes."
"Who told you?"
"Noin," Heero stated shortly. "How did
you know?"
"Hilde told everyone. Relena talked to her
before she left," Quatre
said a little uneasy. "She left a message for you. She said good-bye
Heero."
Heero looked up at him. "Good-bye," he echoed back. "Oh
no," he said
with realization.
"What is it Heero?" he asked as Heero jumped in the cockpit of
Wing Zero and manned the controls.
'Relena, you wouldn't,' Heero thought as he prepared the Gundam for
take off. Getting the final okay from Noin he jetted
out and towards Earth.
'No I won't let you,' he thought with a finality.

"Do you have everything you need?" Daniel asked the woman exiting
the building.
"Yes, thank you Daniel," Relena said as she stepped up to the car.
She looked down and thought for a moment. "Oh no," she whispered.
"What is it?" he asked her.
"I've forgot a document on the table inside the doorway," she
replied.
"I'll get it. Get in the car, I'll be right back," he said as he
bounded up the stairs.
Relena watched him go and turned to the driver's door. She raised
her gun, that Heero had conviced her to get, and
pointed it at the driver.
"Get out of the car," she commanded.
He stumbled out and whimpered for her not to shoot him.
"I won't shoot," she said. "Just tell Daniel that I'm sorry and
to
tell Noin to forgive me for my actions." With
that Relena jumped into the
car, tossed the papers in the passenger's seat and drove off.
Daniel ran out of the front door. "Relena! Wait!
It's not safe!" he
yelled after the car. "Shit," he whispered under his breath.
"Why did you
let her take the car?" he asked hottly at the
driver that was still on
the ground.
"She had a gun," he managed out.
"And so do I," he said as he started towards the house.
"She wanted me to tell you something. She says sorry and that Noin
should forgive her actions," he said.
Daniel looked at him then turned and went into the house.
"I'm too young for this shit," the driver muttered and followed
Daniel into the house.

"She what?!" Noin yelled into the
screen and could be heard from
everywhere on the station.
"I'm very sorry I could not protect her," Daniel said.
"But why? It doesn't make sense," she asked.
"I'm not sure either. But she wanted me to say that she wanted your
forgiveness."
"Oh no," Noin said as realization came over
her. "Okay, we'll be
on Earth in a short time. Bye," she said and ended the conversation.
"What's happening a voice came from the dark. Noin turned to see
blond hair. "She's going to take care of the problem on her own."
"And Heero?" the voice questioned.
"Already on his way. He had had his suspisions," she rpelied.
"Are
we going?"
"Yes. Get the other pilots and we'll leave."

'Please forgive me Noin,' Relena thought as she drove
into the
lot of the meeting house. 'It's for peace.'
"Miss," a man stated and she took his arm as he lead her into the
main hallway and down towards a room.
The door opened and men were revealed sitting around a small table.
They were leaders of the colonies and organizations on Earth, and they
were waiting on her.
"I'm sorry I'm late. I had to get some papers," she said and sat
at the empty chair at the head.
"Relena we heard rumors about you being kidnapped. Are they true?"
a man asked. He was old and had grey hair.
She smiled at him. "Yes they are true. I have some information
about the people we are up against," she said.
"Really? What is it?" a man asked from her
right.
"Will it help with the defeat?" another man asked from the left.
"Yes it will. Here's what I'm talking about," she said and picked
up the folder on the table. "Here's what I know and what I suspect."
"They call them selves the Red Dragon and they want to destroy
Beta Colony 5. I don't understand why so I'm as much in the dark as you
all," she said as she sat down.
"So we don't know what they want or their main goal is," a man
said.
"I'm afraid you're right. I have my suspicions but I don't think
they'd do any good here," she said gravely.
"I'm sure we all have our suspicions," a voice came from the
doorway.
They all turned to see a man with a cane.
"Who are you?" the man to Relena's right asked.
"The leader of Red Dragon," he stated simply.
Most of the people in the room stood up.
"What do you want?" Relena asked as she sat calmly.
"Only you, Miss Peacecraft," he stated as she stood up.
"Very well," Relena said smiling. "But first, I want to ask you
a
question."
He nodded in approval and she went on. "Why are you planning to
attack the BC5?" she asked.
"My reasons are far beyond the uderstanding of a
young woman such
as yourself Miss Peacecraft," he replied.
"But don't you think everyone here deserves the right to know why
you wish to wage war again against the colonies?" she questioned.
"It's not the coloines I'm aiming against and futhermore not even
a war I wish to start. But this threat is something I can not over look
and something must be done."
"I don't understand. What threat?" she asked. 'What could he be
talking about? It's only been...' Relena let her thoughts travel. 'Oh no.
They can't be that stupid, can they?'
"Now Miss Peacecraft, if you will come with me," he guestered.
"What's your name?" she asked abruptly.
"Frank Romefeller," he said as she followed
him out the door.

Heero landed the Gundam at the
stated as he climbed out the mobile suit.
"Yes sir," the man stated as he prepared the transfer of fuel.
"Heero Yuy?" a voice came from behind him.
He turned to see Sally Po. "What are you doing here?" he asked in
his cold voice.
She smiled slightly. "Relena has been reported kidnapped by the
United Nations. They said that a man named Romefeller
came and took her."
"When did this happen?" he asked, his voice growning
even colder.
"About two hours ago. Heero, you should know that she went of her
own will," Sally said.
"I understand," he said.
"Sir, your Gundam is refueled," the man said.
Heero climbed into the Gundam and headed towards his destination.
Relena.

"What's going on?" Duo asked as Noin
came into the room.
"Relena has been taken the Beta Colony 5," she said as she sat down
at the table. Everyone was looking at her.
"When did this happen?" Catherine asked.
"Roughly over two hours. Heero is on his way but when he heard
the news, he was already on Earth. I just got word from Sally Po. She was
working
all go for this. We need everyone of the Gundam
pilots,' she thought.
"I will go," Quatre said as he stood. He looked down at Dorothy.
"I'm going too," she replied looking at him.
"I'm going," Trowa said.
Catherine smiled. "I will go," she stated.
They turned to look at Wufei. "Well it looks like we're all going,"
he said.

GOSH! It took so long to finish this. Anyways, I know I messed up somewhere
here. Just to make it clear to everyone, Catherine is not Trowa's
sister.
She only posed to be when he had amnesia. I also want to state that when
Relena signed the approval of the colony, that it was already built and
just waiting for the people to make new homes. ^.^ (If
that makes any
sense.) I also really like your responses. I know that my grammar could be
worked on but this is really just for fun and the fact that I love anime. I
want to say a special thanks to Mika Maxwell for emailing me privately and
telling me how good I am. (Me being conceited.) And
for you all that also
like Sailor Moon, I have a story posted called Lost and Found. Another first
for me. I worked on that one before this one. It sucks but I loved it
anyway.
