Chapter 3

The last thing Relena remember was the gun in her face then a
sharp pain. She had heard a noise and went to see what it was. Now she
wished she hadn't. She had no desire to open her eyes and see that she
was in some sort of cell or something. She already knew that. The floor
was damp and smelled of mildew. When she tried to move, she felt her hands
restrained. Forcing her eyes open, she saw them bound by rope and tied to
a pole in the wall. The worst part was that the rope was biting into her
skin and making her wrists bleed. There was already dried blood on her
hands and after futher examing
herself, she found that her clothes had
blood dried on them as well.
"I see you are awake," a male voice came from above her.
She shifted her weigth to where she could see him,
but not clearly.
"Who are you?" she asked as she tried her best to stand up.
"I wouldn't try to stand, if I were you," his voice carried over
the room and bounced off the walls.
She whinced in pain and looked down. Her ankle was sprang and both
her legs cut badly as well as her arms. She suddenly realized that she was
very sore from head to toe.
"You know, you are the hardest person to get information from Miss
Peacecraft. Even with truth sirum," he replied.
"I need to ask you some
questions."
"Whatever it is, I'm not telling you!" she snapped out. She knew
what this was. She had been through this before and she wasn't about to
fall to it again.
"Just some information. Shing,
Wong, get in here and take her to
the room. I want to ask more questions," he shouted as he turned and gave
orders. Suddenly two men appeared behind him and stepped into the room.
One untied her from the wall and the other forcefully threw her into a
standing position and made her walk.
She bite back her tears and dealt with the pain. Her
legs throbbed
and sting with every step she took. 'Whatever it is, I won't let them know.
I'll bite my touge out first,' she thought. It must
be important for them
to get desparate and kidnap a minstor.
"Please sit down Miss Peacecraft. Make yourself at home. I know
your legs must be killing you," he said as he offered her a chair.
"No thank you. You still haven't told me your name. What shall I
call you?" she said. 'Stalling won't help anything Relena!' her mind
screamed at her.
"You may call me Professor Jay," he said and made a motion to the
men that escorted Relena. The one called Shing forced
her to sit in the
chair and Wong tied her arms and legs down as weel as
tied her waist to
prevent that much movement. "Now I have some questions for you, my dear.
Where are the men who made the Gundams?"
Relena blinked. Had she heard right? "What are
you talking about?"
she breathed.
"Do you know?" he asked.
"No I do not! And even if I did, why tell you?" she spat. "I
don't
understand what that has to do with me?"
"Nothing at all, at least not pertaining to what I want anyways.
Now, where are the secret files on the space project C5?"
Relena was confused by his question. "I don't understand what
Colony 5 has to do with this?" she said.
"Everything! Where are the blue prints?!" he
yelled, back-handing
her.
"I'm not telling," she said. She felt the sting on her cheek and the
blood from her lip and nose. She tried hard to be brave and courageous like
Heero would but she felt herself slip under his interigation.
'If I can't
survive this, how will I get through the hard times?' she thought to
herself. 'Think of Heero waiting for you.'
Another hard hit brought her back to reality. "Where the hell are
those blue prints?! This is the last time I'll ask nicely."
"Go to hell," Relena whispered back. She had readied herself for
the worst.

Relena stirred in her makeshift bed of water and concrete. Slowly
opening her eyes and she realized where she was. She groaned and knew
she wouldn't be able to move her arms. The room was dimly lit and she
scanned herself to make sure she still had all body parts. She sighed in
relief. But she noticed that her clothes were bloodly
and torn. 'Oh, well
at least if I die I'll look semi good,' she thought amusingly.
The door swung open to reveal Prof. Jay. "Good you are awake again.
Wong, get her and follow me to the conference room."
The man followed directions, untieing her again and
pushing her to
her feet, forcing her to walk. They went through a series of corridors and
then into a room with a steel door. She noticed he had scanned a card
through the side slot to get in. 'A security room?' she thought as she
followed Prof. Jay.
"Sit her there. I want her ropes tied tight and I want her to
suffer," he bite out.
She could tell he was mad because he had not gotten what he wanted
from her. She smiled at that little victory. Heero would be proud of her.
His barking voice broke into her thoughts. "Get me the Gundam
pilots. I want to show them their Princess," he smiled.
Suddenly she knew what he was going to do. Why didn't she think
of it?! 'I don't want Heero or the others to see me like this,' she
thought. Her mind scampering up ways to prevent this from happening and
coming up empty short from giving him what he wanted.
The screen blinked and light up as an image of the living
quarters on the station she had been on earlier appeared. She saw everyone
gathered there and shut her eyes to keep the tears back.

"Where's Heero?" Duo asked as Hilde entered
the living quarter.
"I haven't seen him," she replied as she sat down beside him.
"Well, looking for three straight days without sleep or food, I
wouldn't be surprised if he was in his cockpit with a sandwich in one hand
and asleep," Dou said aloud.
"He'll be here. He won't miss the transmition,"
Wufei stated.
Less than five seconds later a still pissed off Heero walked into
the room. Eight pairs of eyes focused on him as he sat down in a chair
and then they all waited.
'Relena, where are you?' Heero thought to himself as
the screen
in front of them flickered and came to life. There was an image of a
military weapons room.
"Ahh, my dear dear Gundam
pilots. How are you?" the man said on the
other end. He laughed then continued. "My name is Professor Jay, and
this,"
he paused as he moved out of the way of the screen.

Relena heard Prof. Jay talking to her friends. 'Please let me be
strong,' she thought. Now concentrating on his words, she knew exactly
what he was planning to do.
"...pilots. How are you?" he asked then laughed at his own question.
"My name is Prof. Jay, and this," he stalled. She heard him turn to
reveal
her sitting in the chair tied. "This is my dear friend Relena Peacecraft.
Oh but I'm sure you know her already right?" he laughed again.
She looked up into the screen to see Heero staring at her. She
adverted her eyes and looked at the others. The girls
looked like they
were gonna cry. While the boys looked horrified and
ashamed. But the only
place she couldn't look was at Heero. She herself felt too ashamed.
"Relena is my dear friend. Why don't you say something?" he said
breaking the silence and laughing again.
She kept quiet and knew it was for the best. She had no idea what
she looked like but she could only guess at the image she
protraited at
this moment.
"She likes to keep her mouth shut, don't you?!" he yelled as he
back-handed the girl in the chair. She made a wincing sound and lifted
her head as if to dare him to hit her again. That one single move made him
lose his temper. Hitting her again and then yelled at the pilots. "I want
those damn blue prints of Colony 5!"
"No! Heero don't give them to him!" Relena yelled out.
The professor turned and hit her again to shut her up. "Shut the
hell up or I will!" he threatened.
"You don't scare me! I'll never let you ruin the peace that the
earth and the colonies have! You'll never get those blue prints! I swear on
my life!" Relena yelled. She had to let the others know that it was
important that this man not get what he was after. She knew that he would
hit her again, but that didn't matter. She would gladly die to save
everyone she held dear. And she wouldn't think twice about it.
"I said shut up! The one time you do talk and now you just won't
be quiet!" he yelled. "Get me those blue prints or," he pulled a
gun from
his coat and pointed it at Relena, "I'll kill the beautiful Cinq princess!"
"Shoot!" Relena yelled. She knew Heero would give in to the demands
if they were this high. She couldn't help but to provoke him to do what
she didn't want done the most. "Shoot!" she yelled again. She could
hear
Heero through the screen yelling no. She felt comforted by that, then the
most unexpected thing happened. Something that was far from
Relena's mind
at that second.

Heero stared at the man in the screen. He was tauting
them all.
"This is my dear friend Relena Peacecraft," he said with a mock
tone.
At the sound of Relena's name he stared at her. The man had moved
so they could see her. She was tied up in a chair, but the thing that got
him, the thing that tore at his heart was the way she looked. Her head
bowed at being ashamed. She had blood all over her, her clothes torn and
he could see cuts, bruises on her. He could also tell they had drugged her
with more than one kind of drug. Beaten her until she was unable to talk
or unable to do anything else. He had to hold back what he wanted to tell
the man that had hurt the one person that had been there for him.
When she looked up, he meet her eyes and he saw emotions that he
never wanted to see in her eyes. She looked away and he continued to stare
at her wanting to tear that man apart with his bear hands.
He heard a voice speaking but not the words and then there was a
laugh afterwards. He was mocking Relena and all she did was sit there and
take it. 'What else could she do baka?!' he thought
to himself.
"She likes to keep her mouth shut, don't you?!" he heard the man
say again, then he hit her.
He could tell she was in pain, even though she tried to hide it.
He then saw her lift her head in pride and he felt so proud of her at that
moment, that he couldn't describe it. Heero could tell the man was losing
it with Relena, obiviously not getting what he
wanted. He saw him hit
Relena again.
"I want those damn blue prints of Colony 5!" he yelled at them.
"No! Heero don't give them to him!" Relena shouted to him.
He turned and hit her again. "Shut the hell up or I will!"
he threatened.
"You don't scare me! I'll never let you ruin the peace that the
earth and the colonies have! You'll never get those blue prints! I swear on
my life!" Relena screamed.
Heero felt the message she was sending him. But he couldn't leave
her all alone and by herself.
"I said shut up! The one time you do talk and now you just won't
be quiet! Get me those blue prints or," he paused pulling a gun from
his coat pocket and pointed it at Relena, "I'll kill the beautiful Cinq
princess!"
"Shoot!" Relena shouted at him.
Heero couldn't believe his ears. His heart crying out no but his
voice was frozen.
"Shoot!" she cried again.
Suddenly Heero managed to shout. "No!" he screamed at the top of
his lungs. 'Don't take her away! Please!' his mind cried out. Then shattered
from his thoughts by the exlosion of a gun.

~Important Note~
I wrote this chaptter in sections. Like Relena
telling Prof. Jay to shoot
her and then Heero seeing or hearing what happened. I did this for a reason.
:P I'm not yet sure if it will be like this in the
rest of my chapters,
but you might want to expect it. ^^ And the spelling of the Cinq
kingdom is
not Sanq. I get Animerica mags and that's how they spell it. :P
