The program is being offered through the City of Tampa Parks &
Recreation Department and will be held at the Loretta Ingraham Center (near I-275 and Dale Mabry). It is scheduled to start on September 27th with a kickoff swim and barbeque party at 6 pm. The program will run from 6-7:30 pm on the following Thursdays - 10/11, 10/25, 11/8, 11/29, and 12/13 It is designed for kindergarten through high school age children - the children will be divided into two groups according to age. Siblings are welcome to participate at no extra charge. The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) will be providing support to the program, so that our children have the opportunity to practice important social skills in a real recreational setting. The cost will be $35 for the six sessions. To register, email Liisa at [email protected].

The PASS Group and Autism Families United (A.F.U.) will be holding our 1st Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, October 20th at 1 pm to support future programs for our children, especially recreation programs. The golf tournament will be held at Summerfield Crossings Golf Club in Riverview, FL. The cost is $75 which includes golf cart, prizes, and a chicken and ribs buffet. Tee sponsorship is $50.
We need golfers and sponsors. If you cannot participate in the golf tournament, but would like to donate, we will gladly accept donations in any amount.
