A Trip to London
The purpose of this activity is
for the children to plan a trip to London. The children need to find an
inexpensive place to stay in London. They also need to find three famous
places to visit in the capital city. They need to pick a show to go to and
finally they need to choose two people from the royal family and learn about
them.
1. You need a place to stay in
London.
You
do not have a lot of money for buses
(Hint:
You need to be walking distance to many sights.)
2. You
want to see some famous places in London.
Choose
three places you would like to visit.
3. Choose a show that you would like to see.
Remember to check the opening and closing
dates.
(Hint:
It must be during the time of your trip.)
List the following information: production name, author, and theatre.
4. Choose two people from the Royal Family to learn
about.
Write
a brief summary about them.
Ex. Henry VIII had six wives. Prince Edward was his only son.
