| AON Tuesday 13 November 7:30pm HOME 5/13 AON defeated Robin Hood 13-5. A RBI double by David DeSilva and a two-run homerun by Doug Hillen staked the Hood to the early lead. A six run fourth inning gave AON a lead they would never relinquish. A two-run single by Dean Cursons capped off the inning. AF Smith responded with a four-run bottom half of the first inning to take the lead. A RBI single by Tim Gunning capped off the inning. AF Smith pushed across five runs in the third inning to increase their lead. A three-run fourth inning pulled the Hood to within three runs. A RBI double by Hillen was the big blow of the inning. RBI singles by Art Badger, Doug Hillen and Marcus Mahy (2-2). A RBI single by John Hechler and a two-run single by Mike Crow cut the lead to one. A RBI single by Peter Smith (3-4) increased the lead to two. A four-run third inning gave Zurich the lead. A RBI single by Graham Strange and a RBI triple by Warren �The Undertaker� Smith (3-4) keyed the inning. A three-run fourth inning, sparked by a two-run double by Hillen, put the Hood back in front. A RBI single by Strange and a RBI double by Anthony Christopher put Zurich ahead. A solo homerun by David �Suitcase� DeSilva (4-4) tied the score. The Hood scored four runs in each of the first two innings to go in front. Two-run hits by David DeSilva (5-5), Peter Smith and Dennis Vickers keyed the rally. PWC went ahead to stay with a seven-run third. The Oddits scored twelve runs over the final three innings to blow this one open. A three-run single by Aline Harris and a three-run homer by Mike Robichaud led the assault. Robin Hood closed out the scoring with a seven-run seventh inning. A four run bottom half of the inning cut into the lead in half as a RBI triple by Art Badger and a two-run homerun by Hillen (4-5) highlighted the inning. Robin Hood cut the lead to two runs after four innings thanks in part to RBI hits by Jones and Hillen and a three-run triple by DeSilva (4-5). A six-run sixth inning increased the lead to eight. RBI hits by Seymour, McFarlane, Gravelle and Hazlewood and a two-run double by Norden accounted for the runs.
