Actually, I'm well out of touch from everyone here except for Ricky, LydiaPabs & Jun Sargan. Ricky because of Ateneo, LydiaPabs because of his late brother Ramon, and Jun because we live in the same general area in LA. Jun doesn't have an email account so he only depends on me to update him with what's happening. Says that he's in touch with Paulette _____ (Kit Ortega's former secretary) and she knows where a lot of other folks are. Don't know if you knew, Ben Cinco died with his entire family due to that mudslide in the Antipolo area a few years ago. I forget the name. There's still litigation going on against the developer of the housing development. Lydia ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ My reaction when I saw the website was a somber realization of how much time has passed since we started dabbling in television. I actually felt sad (very sad indeed) as I was viewing and reading the website. I am not sure why I felt that way..I guess it had something to do with the site harking me back to our glory days and also realizing that those glory days are past. That is not to say that I do not appreciate what you have initiated. We must thank you for your almost unilateral efforts in building this website and getting the KBS guys together. I am not sure what I can contribute by way of pictures as I do not recall where I even placed the few old pictures I had. Maybe when I am up to it, I will contribute some stories for all of us to relive. I'm about an hour from San Diego and about 1-1/2 from LA. There's three Las Vegas style casinos within 15 minutes of each other (one is 5 mins. from my house), 18 wineries/ vineyards (also 5 minutes from where I live) - a great blend of semi-urban, and agri-wine tasting/ hot air ballooning/ small town feel with some 'vegas' schmaltz!! Yes, I really like the website and I'm glad you created one because we KBSers have really formed a close bond and people look for one another and ask about each other so that's where people can go and post messages. The only thing is I tried to click on "where are they now?" but couldn't click on it to post replies or messages, can you do that? I'll try to see if I can scan some of my old pictures and send it to you. I have some pictures of Alice, Lydia & Lupita. Bert de Leon is in Manila. I saw him last December when I went there for a visit. He told me that he might come here in the Fall. Wyngard Tracy is also in Manila and came here a couple of times with the concert of Side-A and Freestyle. I used to be Guamen. I now work as a secretary at an elementary school about 2 minutes away from my house. I have been working at the school district for the past 12 years and I have plans to take an early retirement in a couple of years. It is not quite the same as my job at KBS. They are my buddies when i was residing there. I stayed in a place in Michigan for 8 years from 1989 to 1997 jun lives in Toronto and Willie in hamden NJ. During summer i spend my weekends in Toronto it is 3 hours drive from my place. I went home here to build a cable system called destiny cable. I retired 2 years ago and i am now doing consultancy jobs. Well you are right to say that we are getting old its nice to hear from old friends again. Keep in touch. | Hi jun, thanks for your quick response. Yes, I was able to get in to your website. It was awesome to see the pictures of our young friends. I still can recognize almost all except for mike del mundo who I think gained weight. All gained weight. You look the same with your eyeglasses except your hair has turned gray already.Me, I gained a lot of weight since I left KBS in '72. I saw Vivian, Lydia,Jo, Noy, Baby,and Kitchie. Some are not familiar anymore. They might have been in KBS after I left. I have a picture that I am going to send you. This one was taken in our old VTR space near the master control during the early stage of putting together KBS studios. I have Perry Camantigue and Dory Pose number. I will call them and tell them your e-mail address. I often times go to Manila and see Boy Gatus and Nards Samson. Me and my wife will be there again this coming holiday season. | Hi Jun, Actually, we came back Aug. 26th and before I can get over my jet lag, I had to go back to work and being an elementary school secretary in charge of registration, I got really busy. Sorry, I was not able to find any pictures (of my KBS days). I basically stayed in Binan. However, I saw Rene and Armi Araujo in Tagaytay (they were to have lunch at Sonya's and I was to have a massage). | Hello Jun, I've just spent a good hour looking over and over the pictures on the website.
I'm laughing and crying at the same time. Reading some of the emails, I feel like Dennis (was that Dennis Cabalfin?). It's sad. Those KBS years -- they will forever be etched in my memory. Those times were life changing experiences for me. I don't think I could have done and achieved what I have achieved here in the US were it not for the solid all around production training I got from KBS.
I can't get over the fact that we are all getting up there in years. I didn�t even recognize some of the people in the pictures. Their faces have changed so much. Although Lydia Pablo pretty much looks the same. Good for her. I know I've gained weight, I need to lose at least 40 lbs! Anyway, I found a picture with Apollo, Frankie Abao, Agnes, Roy Pacia, my husband Don, and my daughter (who was just a year old at that time! She's 24 years old. now ) and two guys whose names escape me right now. That was taken in 1984 when they were in LA for the 84 Olympic Games. I was working at KABC -NEWS at that time. Then I found my KBS Business Card!!!! I can't believe I still have it. When I get a break, I will try to look for more pictures and share it with everybody. Best regards, Jo Moulton (Sarmiento) |

| Jun thanks for your effort in putting up the site. It sure brings a lot of memories for me both happy or otherwise. I was happy to see old friends that I treasure and those that have contributed to a good life after KBS. I am almost retired (probably 2 months from now) from the State of New Jersey Public School job. I handled facilities for the City Schools of Passaic.
