| This photo was sent by our friend Jo Sarmiento, taken in 1984 when the KBS crew came to LA for the coverage of the 1984 Olympics, Jo was then working with ABC. I cannot remember the name of the guy on the extreme left but next to him on his left is Agnes Caballa, then Apollo Arellano, Frankie Abao, Jo and her husband Don with their baby on his lap, then Roy Pacia leaning back and of course, Frank Evangelista. And in case some of you, especially the "younger ones" are wondering who Jo Sarmiento is, attached below is a business card like the ones she gave away to associates during those days. I am sure some of you may still have your own business cards of similar design hiding somewhere in your basement. Jo was with KBS since the Pasay days. |
