The Joseph COOK family of Union and Webster Counties, Kentucky  

JOSEPH COOK  

Joseph (Jo) COOK was b.c 1808 in TN and married Margaret V. Unknown  b.c 1809 in TN.  They came to Union Co. KY c1838.  Joseph died in 1869 in Webster Co. KY and Margaret died some time after 1880.  Their son Elijah married Sarah Jenkins, a sister of Emily Jenkins who married  John D. COOK, a son of Stephen COOK, so there may have been some relationship between this Joseph Cook and Stephen Cook.

• Elijah E. Cook b: Abt. 1849 in KY  m. Sarah A. JENKINS b: 1847 in Caseville, KY Union Co. m: February 09, 1870 in Webster Co. KY.

Elijah E. Cook and Sarah A. Jenkins children were:

• Melvin Cook b: 1873 in KY
• Joseph Cook b: 1876 in KY
• James Cook b: 1879 in KY
