1844 - deposition from Marshall County, KY records: In support of the last will and test. of Barbara Cook Greer, the widow of James Greer.  Her mother, Elizabeth Cook, to be supported until her death, after which the balance goes to her grandchildren by her two daughters: the wife of Alexander Bolen & the wife of Wm. Griffith.  Martin Griffith, Exr.  Negro slave named Dinah to Elizabeth Griffith.
