PEARLCOPPER Interview March 2004

NMN: What got this band together and started in this business?
Artist Response: Its been a long road even before I started PEARLCOPPER, Rock band, with two other front players. But we split. I started PEARLCOPPER of necessity and its been pretty bad show around. I guess its more of all the fuck you-ness . There are not too many good songs out there, even that the music is really awesome. Artists cant play their own shit. And most artists out there cant sing. Its all propaganda make-up to keep those front music bands and artist to outlaw real artists and Rock music stars.

NMN: Who writes and produces all the material for the band?
Artist Response: I do it all. Started it all from scratches and became, actually, Rock music god. Current Rock music project Im at work now is Classic, actually. The title of this album is, as its support to be in reflection, controversial but stimulating for masses or people.

NMN: Who is the bands musical influence?
Artist Response: Self. I respect every major Rock music star that sings about things that part of System doesnt like people to spit it all out. Like thing that there are more than fifty thousand spies in United States that are against Liberal Americans. Or, that my ex-girlfriend had Nazi boyfriend on the side. Or, that Judge and District Attorney Office created fake witness. Hard Rock or slow Pop songs are essential for Mainstream but most of those songs are relevant.

NMN: How did the band get together?
Artist Response: We met on the streets.

NMN: What is your musical background like?
Artist Response: To start with, I like to think of surprise in reflection to what people think toward Society, Authority, Government or God along with Religion. The music I play is reflection of all the shit and misery people make for themselves. I created my own guitar style and original stage presence.

NMN: Any other members in your family that are musicians?
Artist Response: No. But they are remarkable about music.

NMN: What is the TOP reason why you want to play music?
Artist Response: I got it running in my blood. I believe I was chosen by Kings, Queens and God as well as by people.

NMN: What has been your best show?
Artist Response: Underground Show in Boulder, CO, USA, 2002. My last LIVE performance was at coffee shop where I played couple of Rock songs. First song was Dream of Babylon-Lake of Fire on acoustic guitar with my vocals, The other song, Ill be out there outside, I played it on piano with my awesome vocals. We recorded that performance and it went really good. Both songs tell many stories but for one theme is anti-war picture.

NMN: What is the TOP reason why you want to play music?
Artist Response: Im tired of all the shit in Society. I got pretty good sense of what people want to hear and for me necessity of being on the stage is as important as for those individuals in Audience. I mean why vote for new Senator or President? Why support local health clinic or church?

NMN: Any good stories you want to tell us?.
Artist Response: I met that little thirteen years old girl. She asked me if I want to play on stage while shell be singing. I told her to go ahead and get couple of gigs, that I will do it for her.

NMN: Any embarrassing moments on stage?
Artist Response: At other show, the microphone broke. But I got control over it and part of propaganda in audience and backstage. I, actually, outlouded the PA system.
