We also went a lot around on the boat that the family there had. That was great fun. Going with the ring, and wakeboarding (in my case, TRYING to). We had perfect weather, it was absolute bliss. We went around to the different bays with the boat, that was good. Until, we stopped into the nudist bay. Haha, renaud and i had such a laugh there. Im not sure if it was the old group on the beach or the couple engaged in a little nude snorkelling that made me laugh more.
That afternoon Renaud and i went on a swim to an island just under 2 km away. It was not easy but good fun all the same. It took us about 45 minutes to do, i thought i had killed it, Renaud said he needed to get back in training! We played scrabble afterwards, and the Heringtons were accused of being the worlds biggest cheaters!!! What? Growex is a fertiliser!!! Haha, it was good fun!
That night we went for a typical and special Croatian meal, meat and potatoes, cooked in two large pots in ashes on the fire. The meat was extreemly salty but tasted delicious all the same.
The next day, he had to be off though. He was heading off to see italy. It was a shame he had to go, but we had had an excellent time together. We said a goodbye and he went off on his way, and i stayed there in Croatia with my family.
The last couple of days were also incredible. We had so much fun. I knew it before, but it reminded me then, that i was so comfortable with my new family. They and i got along so well, the two little boys were always a lot of fun, and even though they made me swim in the sea about 10 times to go and fetch the ball which they had kicked over the blacony, i forgave them, and then it gave me time to talk to Hannes, and Michi also, which was really nice. I have to say it once more, i am seriously lucky with the people that i have been given and the way they have recieved me.
It was so much fun in Croatia, the weather, the people, the water, the boat, everything. I loved it. It was a dream end to my summer holidays (ok well, almost, we were headed off to Venice in a couple of days!)
