I had had such a good time and done so many things in Verona that by the time i returned to Graz i was really tired. I think that after the excitement and everything we had done in Verona, the return to the monotony and routine of everyday life in Graz was almost a welcome thought. That said, i was in holidays, and that means the days are anything but normal!
The week was spent doing heaps with the boys and going out and meeting friends and so. We played minigolf and would do all sorts of things together. It was good to be really close with a family, just chilling out and doing family things, as stupid as that sounds. But i had three days with just doing nothing at all in particular, just various things together, it was really good fun.
One of the things that i really enjoy doing here is cooking. As mentioned, lunch is a big deal, and really the centrepoint of the day. I have been cooking more and more for lunch and dinner and things, i really enjoy doing it. I miss mums cooking, as everyone naturally does, and to cook some of her things and cook in general gives me heaps of pleasure, and does also make me feel a little bit at home.
On the 3rd, the family left to go on their own holidays. The two boys went to K�rnten to W�rtersee, to go camping with Grandma, and Michi and Hannes went to Italy to have some time to themselves. That meant that i had the house to myself. Usually this would call for a big party, but seeing as i was quite sick, i was more up for staying in and having the time to myself to read, watch tv and relax.
I originally had the plan to take the train somewhere, like Bratislava or Prague or somewhere but both seeing that i was sick and that i organised it too late, i dedided to take the easier option and join the boys and Grandma in K�rnten for a couple of days.
