21st May - Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous part ii

After we looked at the photos probably 10 times, we decided to go up on on of the sides, where the castle is, and have a look at the view from there. It was an awesome idea because the view we got was incredible. Seeing the yachts moored outside the harbour and the helicopters, always about 10 in the air, hovering above. When you actually look at the city of Monte Carlo objectively, that is the whole playground factor removed, it is quite a pretty place, under the mountain and nestled away. But sorry, the fact is that you cant ignore the money, when you see a Ferrari ever 2 minutes, you know something is up. But we didnt complain!

It was so funny to see everyone return to the bus.

Ive never seen bigger smiles, or so many people rushing other people over to their cameras to see how many shots of Lambourghinis and Porches they had snapped. It was such a cool day.

However, one thing really wasnt good. Being the cheap exchange students we are, none of us forked out to each in Monte Carlo, so we were all starving!!!!

However our prayers were answered as that afternoon we went to Eze Village which is a centre for Perfumes and Perfumeries, and cheap food! Bt we did a tour of a perfumerie and learnt all about how perfume was made, which was really interesting. This was one of the perfumeries that sells it recipes to the big companies like CK, Bulgari, etc, and so we bought really good perfume for about a quarter of the price. It was a great day all in all, we spent the later afternoon in Eze looking at the old city and seeing more Ferraris, haha, cant complain!
