20th August - The Boys are in Town - part ii

The next morning we had a good sleep in and a lazy brekky, it was nice to chill and talk with the boys. It wasnt just the english which was naturally easier, it was everything, these are the people that i understand and get along with best out of anyone that i have met, and seeing people like that always makes you feel good, just like comfortable and stuff.

We got an sms from the boys saying they would be at the train station at 11 so we went to pick them up. Once we saw them, being the mature adult we were, jack and i decided to try and hide all over the train station, getting as close to them as we could without being discovered. My favourite was reading a paper right next to Harry as he bought out, with not the slightest that i was standing right next to him. However, we were eventually discovered, and we had to actually talk to them. They're travels had made them look a little worse for ware, but all the same it was good to see them, the first thing i had to ask about, however, was the 'day trip' they mentioned. What had happened was that they had gotten on the wrong train in Budapest and instead of heading for Vienna, they were headed for Serbia and Montenegro. They didnt know this though. They were asked for tickets just before the border, and when they were told the eurail passes didnt work in Serbia, they naturally replied that they were not going there. Long story short they were kicked off at the border, went into a tiny town, played pool for hours, got kicked out, and then slept under a bridge, before leaving early the next morning. But we finally saw them, which was good.

They settled in and after a quick shower we were off. We did all the main things in Vienna, and it was quite similar as with my parents, only my parents were'nt lazy and they dont stink, haha, but it was pretty much the same. We had a good day looking around, it was great to see them, it was also excellent to show them around my hood. On the way back to the hostel, i spotted a friend from Graz, who i had been trying to catch up with over the summer to no avail. She said we could meet up that night, or the next or whatever, so that was good, but it was the biggest coincidence just on the street in the middle of Vienna.
We spent the afternoon playing pool (remember the 7 balls with one shot shot that i played boys, for all my mistakes, that redeems me!), and then had a good pasta dinner before a little olympics and then heading out. The night was a little bit of a disaster. I said i would catch up with Ioana, the friend from Graz, but everyone had said head to the Swiss House on the top side of town, so we decided to head there and then catch up with Ioana later. The problem was that we headed out at 11, it was seriously up on the top side of town, and we got lost (well sorta!). So we went and did go karts at like 11:30 which absolutely rocked! We tried to catch up with my friend, but it was too late, and the whole night ended up being a bit of a big nothing, thanks to me, but we had fun all the same.
