Mike hails from Glendive, Montana but transplanted himself to
Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1992. He had been at KXGN television/radio in
Glendive and had a good setup. Life, however had different ideas. It's a
good story that I can't repeat here. Basically the question would be... Did
the move make a difference? The artwork below was done during an interesting
period about one and one half years after the move. Living in an extremely
small cabin, the third residence in a year, limited on space, Mike began
working on small collage pieces. They came about very rapidly working each
piece until completion. The titles were discovered as each piece was
finished. What began as an experiment in materials and neccesity, became the
work below.
