Everything on this page shitted me so I got rid of it. Oh well.

Here's a little profile thingy of me:

I am Simon. I play guitar in Rob Teahle & The Party Crew Mix. I am the main musical song-writer in the band and the secondary lyricist. I began the band so I could play grindcore with like-minded friends, of which there were few.

Of course the band developed and now has five reasonably permanent members including myself.

My main musical influences are australian and european grindcore such as agents of abhorrence and sayyadina. Minor influences also come from the asian scene, which has much more focus on the technicality than the brutality as many american bands seem to have. This is an unfair generalisation however, as two of my biggest musical influences come in the forms of screamo band Orchid and psychotic grindcore band Daughters, who in particular focus on the technical aspect of the music they play rather than the brutal assault put forward by contemporaries like pig destroyer and combatwoundedveteran, both of whom im found of though.

Im also a big fan of 60s and 70s era music such as the Doors, and a fair bit of 80s music like early era bon jovi, the smiths and van halen.

primarily i stick to grindcore and glam rock, but i am akin to all genres and enjoy the sounds of slayer, jamiroquai and radiohead all much more than most of the two genres i have specified my interest in.
