Rob Teahle And The Party Crew Mix

grind/crust/death

Could This Be The End? No!

Well we haven't broken up which is good. Dale is back in Victoria and Ondie has his summer break from Uni rapidly approaching. Ricci has nearly finished VCE and Simon and Alistair are still doing very little. Alistair has a new band with Ondie on drums and our old 3rd guitarist Gaelan on guitar, with a bloke called Tim on bass. They play deathy thrash and have some gigs and a possible demo coming soon. Will keep you updated about that.
As for us, we will be looking for gigs in the coming months and hopefully get some more recording etc done. Come back and we may have more news coming along shortly. Stay sociological.
ps: the keyboard I'm using is shit. Sorry for any spelling mistakes.

Wow! A Band Too Far...

12/09/2006
Hello everyone. We haven't really done a lot lately. At the moment myself and Alistair are talking in regard to getting shows and getting (shudder) a little more serious musically. We will keep you updated on this grim aspect...

News Finally!

08/08/2006
Well its been some time but i've finally decided that i should put some more news up. Few things have occured since last time, the main thing being the Parish show, which we apparently played well. Unfortunately our set and the set of the Problem and Sell Adore was marked with some major problems with the electricity which was great! Simon's amp wouldn't work before the set (since been repaired... for free! DIY as fuck!) so he used one of Sell Adores'. That amp blew a valve during Rotting In A Rookery which was excellent. The power went out three times (or more) during Sell Adore's set and once during The Problem's. All round a bit of a shambles but it was fun and thanks to Anna and everyone involved. May they keep running them longtime.

Other news... Dale has gone to Tasmania for a few months or so. He should be back around October I am led to believe.

Recording news! We have postponed recording due to severe lack of practice hahahahahahahahaha a laugh too far... Hopefully we will continue soon enough but it's a bit difficult with Ondie at uni again and Dale interstate again. Simon has been writing a bit and new recordings will be posted in the MP3 section as soon as is possible, which judging by our organisation may be some time.

So all in all not a lot of overly good news for the band in general. Lately the state of our individual lives seems to have improved a bit so I guess that is good. If only it transferred over to the band... time will tell.

I'm starting to ramble now so i'll leave it at that.
Stay breakfast club.

Parish Show 21/07/2006!

09/07/2006
Parish show date has finally been put up officially. Its on Friday the 21st of July at the Parish Hall in Cowes. We are closing the show and the other bands playiing are The Problem and Sell Adore. Any enquiries e-mail me here.

New EP on tape

04/07/2006
We will be recording an EP of mostly straight up brutal grind in the next week or two. It will be released on tape as soon as possible, probably around August or September. It will have a bit more artwork involved than the Anthology. I will keep everyone updated. Stay experimental electronica... hehehe!

BAD NEWS!... and... GOOD NEWS!

29/06/2006
Well the laundramatte has been cancelled due to some (very) last minute mishaps. Ondie's sick and no one is keen to play without Ondie, Simon is sick and Ricci is unavailable as well, Alistair is unavailable which leaves Dale and a sick Simon as the only two band members willing to play the show. As it turned out we decided against it and rang up several people to spread the word around. We're all very sorry for having to cancel but as explained above it wouldn't have been the best experience anyway. Most appologies to crew that turn up expecting a show to be surprised by an absence of band. We're very very sorry and we will try very hard to make it up to you all.

On a brighter note we are ready to record a less versatile effort than our Anthology but much grindier and we will be recording as soon as possible. The release will be available on tape and should be available by mid spring. Stay tuned for more details.

RT&TPCM UNPLUGGED!

23/06/2006
rob teahle & the party crew mix... acoustic!
live at the cowes laundramatte
midnight, thursday 29th/friday 30th
free entry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
be there & get funky til we get busted!

New Photos etc.

13/06/2006
Well the party show went down the drain which sucks but we managed to have a little gathering at Anna (who organizes the Parish gigs) at her place in Cowes, although I (Simon) was the only RT&TPCM member in attendance, almost the entire cast of The Problem was present leading to musical mischief and an unplugged jam with myself and Luke (vocalist for the Problem) which was good fun. Thanks to Anna and her dad Bill for putting up with our shit and sorry if we fucked up anything.

Anyway I've updated the photo section with some captions and new photos of crew fucking around at Richie's, our ex-vocalists, place.

Still no date for the next Parish gig, although the line-up is almost certainly Rob Teahle & The Party Crew Mix, The Problem and Sell Adore, and maybe someone else. RT&TPCM will close the night, but no one is sure who will open the show as of yet, because no one actually wants to. We offered to open but Anna rejected the idea, as we have been quite publically announcing it and she and we and many others wanted us to close the show which, well, makes us feel quite wanted and all giggly inside. Thanks people!

Still no certain date for the Laundramatte gig yet. We will have to sort that out sooner or later. Stay tuned for more details!

Shows trouble...

08/06/2006
Well the party is off for tomorrow night but it could be on any time so we don't even know whats going on... plus the Problem aren't playing. The Parish could be on a different date as well which is shitty but at the moment we'll claim its the 7th...

Slayer day was good. We slept little and drank lots. Reign in blood was played repeatedly.

New Shows FINALLY!

27/06/2006
It's true we finally have shows! On the 9th of June we will be playing a party in Cowes at the Scout Hall. I don't know how you get in or whatever but if your coming it's a free gig... so come!

The next Parish Hall gig is coming up on the 7th of July as well! That's a $5 entry and I think this time around there are 4 bands although it'll probably be three by then but we are playing. Another band include The Problem that I (Simon) work with a lot and have manager duties... whatever that means. I don't know the names of the other band(s) playing but I'll let you all know when I finds out.

We also have our free acousitc laundramatte gig which the Problem will also play a few songs in but at the moment the date for that is undecided.

Stay tuned for more details...

INTERNATIONAL Listen To

Day!

On June the 6th 2006 or as it is affectionately known 06-06-06, the world shall stop and listen to SLAYER, get drunk, run riot, and listen to more SLAYER. So join us as we celebrate the band and the music that is SLAYER on the 6th of June. It's a good excuse for a party or to play Slayer covers and get drunk while doing both or either so do it! Fuckin' SLAYER!

Birthday Mums And Parish In The Future

16/05/2006
It's my mum's birthday but she never goes to this site so yeah happy birthday ma!

Anyway in other news I've pretty much claimed it as official that we are playing the next Parish Hall gig after the success of the first one which we headlined hahahaha. We have some new material including a straight edge anthem and a song that has a wolfmother riff in it hahaha, no offense to them or anything but yeah kinda over it...
Anyway yes we should be playing it when it comes whenever that is or if it happens. Apparently no organization has been made as of yet but we will get on the pestering case as soon as can be. Stay tuned...

I hate ads

12/05/2006
For those who frequent this website (hahaha wishful thinking) you might have noticed the shitty ads popping up. Sorry about this but cjb is free and this is what we pay for it. Bad luck for us though. One day i will organize a domain name so we dont have to have ads and the shit that comes with them. Try and ignore them best you can. I garuntee you won't find anything you're looking for in them.

Zines and such

05/05/2006
Dale is in and out of places so whereever he is he is there. He has some zines for sale. They are $2 each. I will put a zines page on in case more people want to sell zines through this site. So here it is.

Zines site yeah!

No News Means More Booze And Bad Poetry

25/4/2006
Well I guess it's safe to say that not a lot has been happening. I (Simon) am having a good time at tafe learning how to turn on a computer. I don't really know why I am doing the course except for the centrelink benefits.
I haven't been focusing on RT&TPCM of late because of my other two musical projects that I am trying to get into some sort of shape. One of them is a crust band in the vein of Artimus Pyle and Schifosi, called Vegan Holocaust, which is a name I'm sure many will love. The other project I'm working on is starting a experimental death metal band with RT&TPCM's old singer Richie and his sister called Tarkon Death Squadron. It's mostly tales about space and fantasy shit that we laugh about put to a sci-fi and death metal soundtrack so it should be interesting.

Ondie is at Uni as usual. I think he's having most of June off so we might be able to play some shows providing that all of us are in the country and/or not injured.

Alistair is doing nothing as far as I know. He has no job, doesn't study anything, lives with his parents and plays guitar a lot so he's getting pretty good. I'm guessing he spends a fair bit of time masturbating because I sure do and I do a lot more studying than he does. But he has been writing some stuff and so far we haven't played much of it but the time will come little ones...

Ricci is doing year 12 so he hasn't had much time to jam with us but he's playing bass a heap and sometimes has been jamming with me just playing bass and its fun.

As mentioned below, Dale is in NSW at the last few Conation shows. He should be back in the next few weeks.
At the moment me and Dale are probably the most active members of RT&TPCM and we have written a little bit of new material which is okay. We even thought about using a violin in one of them. I have a violin but I cant play it so it should be fun.

I've been in touch with a member of a band called Love The Bomb and we have agreed that we should play some shows sooner or later so look out for the wonderous lineup that is RT&TPCM and Love The Bomb. They have a myspace site i'll find the address and post it here in a minute when i can be bothered. Here it is. Click HERE to goto the Love The Bomb myspace site.

Dale in NSW, we have no more patches at the moment

25/4/2006
Yay! Exciting news we have no more patches left until me and dale make more which wont be for a while because he's in New South Wales at the last Conation shows. So yeah... patches will be hard to get for a few weeks.

On the brighter and more sunny side of the chicken, we have actually been playing together as a band and have come up with some new material which is good if you like us and if you don't then i'm not sure why you are reading this. More on that when I know things...

MP3 mayhem in the world of mayhemp

21/4/2006
I've put some more MP3s up and about. Their are too many of them so I had to create a new geocities account at www.geocities.com/partycrewmix1 you can access it there or from the MP3 section. Cheerio!

Patches and the thing Part 2

04/04/2006
As a recent addition to the below post, I've put the images of our patches (4 of 5 we did) on the site which has called for a new BUYME section so you can help promote us with subtle messages and secret codes that only the funk crusty punks will understand.

Patches and the thing Part 1

04/04/2006
Myself (Simon) and Dale have been making patches and we'll be selling them for cheap as chips and fish prices. When I get a chance I'll put some designs up and even a merchandise page so you can buy our $400 rt&tpcm lunchboxes. You won't be able to buy online because I can't be bothered learning all the programming and shit that comes with that.

In more news we are still looking for drummers to fill in while Ondie is at uni. We so far have one but he's still at school which means he will only be available for weekend shows, which is kinda shitty. So we're still looking for other drummers who would like to play shows with us, prefferably who are into a wide range of styles including grindcore. Anyone in Victoria, prefferably Gippsland or Melbourne, anywhere else is kinda far away, e-mail me.

ANTHOLOGY

28/03/2006
The first RT&TPCM release will be released very soon. Me (Simon) and Dale are working on the packaging. 4 copies have already been released but they were for certain people to have.

The cd will cost a few dollars, nothing overpriced, so that every crusty punk can afford one to be the soundtrack to dumpster missions and long nights of cask wine and scrumpy (we might be going to NZ as well for punkfest, speaking of scrumpy). Stay crustastic.

More Amazingness

05/03/2006
We are looking for shows. Contact us if you have any thoughts.

Dale: The Return Of The Two Towers

28/02/2006
Yes you heard it right. Dale is back and has brought with him various foreign insects, hahaha just joking Steve Irwin you silly duffer.

Anyway, I'm going to try and coax and unusual and amusing interview out of him re: his time in NZ so stay tuned fellow patriotic Americans or Australians or both or neither good day ramble ramble.

Ondie At Uni, Dale In Australia, New Songs, Flyers And Such

23/02/2006
Good day or night crusty ones. As the heading says here, Ondie is in Uni and has moved his location making it a little more difficult for us to jam and play gigs. However we will still get the occasional gig and if we need a fill in drummer I guess the search starts now. If you are crazy and a drummer and only shower when absolutely neccessary, and, of course, are interested in drumming every now and then for us, pass on some word or other to me here.

In other news Dale is due back next week and that will be quite excellent! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Scream grind etc.

I've put up flyers from our last two gigs as RT&TPCM which was a while ago now. I've added a page all about our flyers and setlists and shit like that so if you are a huge Rob Teahle-ite or whatever you want to call yourself, and you missed one or two or three shows, then you can get the paper love we spread in a much more environmentally friendly way via a simple downloadable jpg or gif file. Enjoy.

Me (Simon) and Alistair spent yesterday writing some new shit and reinventing some old tunes I've had stacked away in the closet for a while. Previously, myself, Ondie and Ricci conducted a bit of a jam in Ondie's room and wrote the basis for a few new songs, one of which is likely to be played next time we have a gig.

Anyway I think that's about it. I got a lot of old news off the page and put it into the wonderous news archives so if you missed something and feel obligated to make my efforts seem worthwhile, please indulge yourself in the archives.
Stay piccolo totin'

Ondie Is Knee

Ondie has had his knee surgery and will be not drumming for a month or so. Sorry but no shows til then as far as I can see. Hoping for a quick recovory.

We Still Exist

18/01/2006
Hello masses of people who visit our site hoping to see freshly updated insightful and witty messages from me. Sorry I haven't done anything on the site for a few weeks or a month or so. I haven't been busy I just haven't been fucked doing it.
Anyway I've put up an mp3 of Britney from our demo which, as some who read the message below this one will know, we finished recording and are busy in the final stages of production, with me (Simon) on vocals and guitar, Alistair on guitar, Riccardo on bass, and Andréa on drums. It should be available in its finished state sooner or later, and I will put up some more mp3s when I have the chance.

In bigger news it looks like DALE IS COMING BACK! So we may well have a singer again! This is good news as we will be playing more shows as soon as possible.

On that note, shows may not go ahead as soon as we like because Ondie is having knee surgery and will be unable to waft his double kickiness throughout for some weeks. However if all goes well his recovery shouldn't be too long unless I hit him with a shovel.
