| How I was different from Alex: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I came out second. I just slid right out. Luckily Mommy didn't think she could take anymore. It turned out I took a lot of Alex's blood so I was really pink. And I was crying which made everyone very happy. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| How I reacted when I got home: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I'm happy and content most of the time. I started to learn that crying gets me food or cuddle time with mommy or daddy though. So I'm trying to learn how to cry, right now I only make little almost crying noises. Alex is much better at crying than me right now. 10/4/06 I'm starting to get big now. I weigh 8 lbs 11 oz, a little bigger than my brother. I'm finally the size of a large new born. Now that I have played catch up in my weight I am starting to play catch up with my developmental skills. I'm starting to lift my head, smile, and stick out my tongue to whoever is looking at me. |

| 7 month update: I now weigh over a pound more than my brother because I don't move around as much. I weigh 21 lbs 15 oz and am 29-1/2 inches long. I enjoy playing on the floor with my brother but I still don't like it if I end up on my belly too long and I start screaming. I sometimes forget how to roll back onto my back. I love playing in the activity saucers, when I spin the alphebet and number wheels I wait for daddy to sing the songs with the lady in the machine. I have two teeth and am working on my other two teeth. My favorite toy right now is an open ball with a bunch of tabs on it. I love playing with the tabs and moving the ball from one hand to the other. |

| 5 month update: 18 lbs. 1 oz is what I tipped the scale to this month. And 28 inches long, soon Mommy and Daddy won't be able to use the baby carriers. I rolled over for the first time all by myself on Feb. 3rd. Mommy put me on my tummy and I didn't like it so I just rolled over. I also have started to play with my toys more and I know how to turn on my crib toy and spin the things on my crib toy. Life is getting fun. Mommy and Daddy started us on cereal resently and I don't really like it that much. I would much rather just drink my bottle. But I'm starting to get the hang of it, because I guess it's here to stay since they keep trying to feed me it. Hopefully, better flavors are coming. |

| 4 month update: I am growing more than my brother now. I now weigh 16 lbs. 6 oz. But we are the same length of 25 1/2 inches. I am also starting to teth. So I am a little crabby. My brother and I both like to have Mommy and Daddy's attention so we are starting to get jealous of eachother. We like it when Mommy reads to us. We got a lot of books for Christmas. I really like the "Make Way For Ducklings" book. I stare a picture we have of those ducks in Boston when I'm eatting sometimes and Mommy and Daddy said some day we'll visit them when we visit our soon to be born cousin Tristan. I can't wait. |

| 3 month update: I now weigh only 2 oz more than my brother. I weigh around 13 1/2 lbs and am 24 1/2 inches long. I have been getting very excited about the holidays. Mommy and Daddy were decorating and I was watching them and trying to get them to play with me instead. But it is very colorful now so I like it. I also giggled for the first time on Thansgiving morning. Now that I know how to giggle I want to do it all the time but I get the hiccups everytime I giggle. So Mom and Dad have to calm me down after I do it a few times. I am also trying really hard to talk. I can say, "ooo" but I want to say more so I get really frustrated when it doesn't work and start crying. I just don't understand why it doesn't work I WANT TO TALK NOW!!!! |
