Match Report:

The biggest match of the season for Partizan was now here, a semi final of the Wimbledon Trophy vs Union, who had already won the Premier Division by a huge margin. This would be a huge upset if Union lost, but Partizan were on a high after their latest demolition of Wollaton and were confident they could reach their first final for a long while with a relatively new squad!

The match started at a quick pace with both sides looking confident and neither side creating many chances early on. The referee, who we'd been told prior to kick-off was a Vauxhall Conference referee!......as there now wasn't a league called the Vauxhall Conference, we didn't have much confidence in him and expecting to see a white haired old fool turn up.

When we did see the size of the referee we could see why he'd given up football at an early age! Though he was one of the best referees we'd seen this season, he was also one of the strictest and wasn't afraid to used his cards. Farrell was the first one to experience the wrath when making a run into the box he was flagged incorrectly offside, it a show of anger, Farrell let fly with a string of foul mouth abuse. The referee immediately showed the yellow card and warned any other language would receive the same punishment!
