Match Report:

The second match in the double-header and after a 3-0 win for Partizan in the first match, they were confident it would go much the same way to ease their relegation worries! The starting XI was changed around to rest some weary legs for this 30mins each-way match, with Glenn and Dulake becoming the centre-back partnership for the first time in Glenn's starting debut for Partizan. Farrell switched to partner Souissi up front.

Partizan received an early shock after a mix-up at the back by the pannicky
Dulake resulted in Meado blocking a shot with his outstretched arm. The penalty was calmly slotted past Don for an early Partizan set-back. 0-1.

Partizan then set about restoring their battered pride and the equaliser was quick to follow as a corner from
Bhandy was flicked onto the bar by Dulake with Farrell the quickest to respond to nod in the rebound! 1-1.

Lionhearts became edgy as it started to be clear that partizan had the better of the play and were looking to take all 6 points from the afternoons events. Lionhearts number 7, Larry (large that is), appeared to be the most affected by the proceedings. He began to systematically attack the mighty Partizans players verbally, his physique did not allow any other form of attack, in a vain attempt to knock Wandsworth out of their stride. Naturally he was greeted with as good as he gave which was not difficult bearing in mind this chap was wearing personalised red boots and matching hair tint! Like Dwights favourite chocolate snack and sponsors of Soccer AM...its not for girls was the cry!

Lionhearts punishment was almost complete as Farrell broke free down the left after a superb ball from
Damo and cooly lashed the ball into the roof of the net. Surely Lionhearts wouldn't come back from this! 1-2.

H-T: 1-2.
Half-time and Partizan made a couple of changes to sure things up with Murray and Bloor coming on up front for Souissi and Hugh with Farrell switching back into his custom centre-back role alongside Glenn and Dulake returning alongside Meado in the centre of the park. Partizan started the second half how they finished the first with constant pressure pegging back Lionhearts defence even though their wily old captain kept trying to hold his defense on the half way line and had his right arm raised for offside more than Tony Adams in his haydays!!

Partizan were starting to break down their stuborn defense and chances were created for the front two to finish the match, but Bloorie couldn't keep his wayward shooting down after some good work getting himelf into scoring positions. Partizan were then made to pay for their wasted chances when they were caught short at the back and Lionhearts number 9 fired a shot into the top corner of the net giving
Don no chance! 2-2.

It looked like all Partizan's hard work had been wasted and they would be going home with only 4 points, but Partizan knew they would get another chance to redeem themselves and this happened when a through ball by Dulake found Murray one on one with the Lionhearts keeper. This time the offside trap had been breached and Murray calmly slotted home the winner to seal a much deserved victory! 2-3.
