Aunt Nancy" Partin Dead
Mrs. Nancy Partin, widow of Thomas Partin, sometimes called "Aunt Nancy" or Grandma, died last night about 11 o'clock at the residence of Bob Holt on South Heights. She was born at Burrows Cove in Grundy Co., Tennessee, August 10, 1823, and came to Texas about 1850. Her husband was a brother of George W. Partin of this city, a Confederate soldier, and has been dead many years. She will be buried beside his side this afternoon at Fairview Cemetery. Thomas Partin was related to the Burrows and King Families and a large number of relatives survive.

Funeral for Thomas Hubert Wisener, 79, of Route 1, Cushing, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Lonneyville Union Church with interment in the Redland Cemetery.
Officiating will be the Rev. Billie Thomas of Cushing and the Rev. Leamond Dearmond of Nacogdoches.
Mr. Wisener died Thursday, January 5, in Medical Center Hospital.
Born December 14, 1904, in Nacogdoches County, he was the son of William and Nettie Rightner Wisener. He was retired for the last eight years in Lilbert and was a member of the Lonneyville Union Church.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel Wisener of Lilbert; three daughters, Evelyn Revere of Beaumont, Melba Stripling of Cushing, and Elizabeth Arriola of Nacogdoches; two brothers, Truitt Wisener of Forest and Mack Wisener of Hawaii; three sisters, Winnie Wood of Millersville, Virgie Jones of Sacul, and Lillie Belle Davis of Dayton; and 18 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Boots McLain, Larry Stripling, Ronnie Arriola, Edward Revere, Bonnie Wisener, and Ted Wisener.

Anderson Partin Dead
Anderson Partin, who lived two miles east from Nacogdoches, died yesterday at the home of his daughter in Angelina County. He had been in bad health several years and his death was caused from an attack of neuralgia. He was well known in this community and was a quiet, peaceable citizen. His remains were brought up on the T & N O passenger this afternoon and will be buried at the Fairview cemetery, four miles east from town.

Funeral services for Jesse Thomas Partin, 82, of Melrose will be held Sunday afternoon, July 26 at 2 o'clock in Cason, Monk Chapel with interment in the Fairview Cemetery east of Nacogdoches.
Officiating will be the Rev. George Middlebrook of Nacogdoches, pastor of the Chireno Baptist Church and the Rev. W. H. Bartlett of Nacogdoches, pastor of the Melrose Baptist Church.
Mr. Partin died Thursday, July 23, in Denning.
Born November 21, 18814 in Nacogdoches, Mr. Partin lived in the Melrose Community for 49 years. He was a retired farmer, the son of Anderson and Sally Cornelison Partin. He and Nettie Muckleroy Partin were married 39 years ago and she survives him. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Jack Jessup of San Augustine, Mrs. F. R. McKerthen and Mrs. Bob Mayes of Houston; one son, Luther H. Partin of Houston; one brother, John Partin of Nacogdoches; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence E. Smith, Oscar Dyes, Grover Hall, Grady Haltom, Doug Metteauer, and Jim Irvin.
Bertie Hurst will be in charge of the music.

Funeral for Mrs. Julie Enettie Partin, 86, of Route 3, Box 219, San Augustine, was held Monday at 2 p.m. in he Cason Monk Chapel with interment in the Fairview Cemetery.
Officiating were the Rev. W. H. Bartlett, pastor of the Melrose Baptist Church, and the Rev. George Middlebrook, Baptist minister.
Mrs. Partin died Saturday in a San Augustine Nursing Home.
Born March 2, 1889, in March 2, 1889, in Melrose, she was the widow of J.T. Partin and the daughter of R. P. and Frances Elizabeth Gray Muckleroy. She had lived at the San Augustine address for 13 years and was a member of the Baptist Chruch.
Surviving are a son, L. H. Partin of San Augustine; three daughters, Mrs. Kathrine McKeithen of Channel View, Mrs. Evie Mae Wayes of Melrose, and Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Jessup of San Augustine; a sister, Mrs. Mary Frances Herrin of Haywood, California; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Will Kendrick, L. E. Smith, Ross Hardeman; Ruck Strahan (Buck), Oscar Smith, and C. L. Partin.

Funeral For J. P. Partin Wednesday
Funeral service for John Porter Partin, 79, of Route 2 will be held Wednesday morning, Sept. 14, at 10 o'clock in the Cason Monk Chapel with interment in the Fairview Cemetery east of Nacogdoches.
Officiating will be the Rev. M. A. Ervin, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, and the Rev. Dewitt Weaver, pastor of Fairview Methodit Church.
Mr. Partin died Monday in City Memorial Hospital.
Born September 22, 1886, in Nacogdoches, Mr. Partin was a retired farmer, the son of Anderson and Kalley Cornelison Partin. He was married to Mattie Turner in 1905 and she preceded him in death.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Mattie Brewster of Midland and Mrs. Ray Hart of Pasadena; four sons, James P. Partin, Baraham Partin, C. L. Partin, and Eugene Partin, all of Nacogdoches; fifteen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wilson Muckleroy, Leonard Humphreys, Harold Schabow, Dock Stone, J. D. Parrish, Luther King, Ed Key, and Ensel Muckleroy.
Services will be directed by Cason Monk Funeral Home.

Funeral For J. T. Partin On Tuesday [sig]
Funeral services for T. J. Partin, 78, of 123 East Austin will be held Tuesday morning, Dec. 6, at 10 o'clock in the Cason Monk Chapel with interment in Sunset Memorial Park.
Officiating will be the Rev. W. Edwin Crawford, pastor of the First Baptist Church.
Mr. Partin died Sunday at 5:45 p.m. at his home.
Born June 3, 1888 in Nacogdoches County, Mr. Partin had lived his entire lifetime in the county. He was a retired repairman for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, having worked for forty years for the firm. He was a member of the Baptist Church and the Woodmen of the World.
Mr. Partin was married to Lena Shofner Schmidt Partin December 20, 1953, and she survives him.
Other Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Allen Biggs and Mrs. James Payne of Tyler; two sisters, Mrs. Charlie Huston of Nacogdoches and Mrs. Clara Womack of Jacksonville; a brother, Henry Partin of Cushing and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
Services will be directed by Cason Monk Funeral Home.

Funeral for Mrs. Willie Carnes Partin, 84 of Cushing was scheduled for 2 p.m. today, Saturday, at the First United Methodist Church in Cushing.
Mrs. Partin died Thursday night in a Tyler hospital.
The Rev. Richard White, pastor Cushing's First United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Billie Thomas, pastor of Brownsboro's First United Methodist Church, officiated.
Mrs. Partin was born in Nacogdoches County and had lived in the county all her life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cushing.
Survivors include four sons, Bazil G. Partin and Clarence H. Partin, both of Pasadena, George Max Partin of Nederland and Elmer Partin of Houston; one daughter Mrs. L. A. Sitton of Beaumont; one brother, T. N. Carnes of Cushing; two sisters, Mrs. Vida Stem well of San Augustine and Mrs. Clara Womack of Jacksonville; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Richards Sitton, Cary Partin, Keneth Ogden, Ralph Raines, Michael Phillips, Leo Phillips, Stanton Wagers, Jr. and Steve Maywold.

Funeral for Mrs. Vonnie Jean Partin, 65, of San Augustine, will be held a 10 a.m. Thursday in Calvary Baptist Church in San Augustine with interment in Thomas Cemetery in San Augustine County.
Officiating will be the Rev. Frank Thompson, pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church of San Augustine County.
Mrs. Partin died Tuesday, April 7, 1992 at her home.
Born October 4, 1926, to Otha and Lillie Mae Bragger Bean, she was a cosmetician at San Augustine Drug Store for 22 years and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of San Augustine.
Survivors include her husband, Luther Partin of San Augustine; daughter Darlie Partin Raniey of San Augustine; sister, Eola Gore of Houston; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral for James Porter Partin, 77 of 3340 Woden Road will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Oakley Metcalf Sunset Chapel with interment in Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Partin died Thursday June 26, at his home.
Born Oct. 16, 1908 in Nacogdoches County, he was the son of John and Mattie Turner Partin. He was a retired painter, a Baptist, a lifetime resident of the city, a veteran of World War II, and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Woodmen of the World.
Mr. Partin and Lottie Pearl Wheeler were married Dec. 2, 1946, and she survives him.
Also Surviving are two sons Jimmy L. Partin and Floyd A. Turnage, and three brothers, Baraham Partin, Gene Partin, and C. C. Partin, all of Nacogdoches. Also a sister, Mrs. Eula Mae Hart, of Cleveland, and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Partin, Mitch Partin, Steve Rector, Robert Weitzer, Roland Bailey and Martin Porsett [Dorsett].

Mrs. Partin died Saturday, June 28, at her home. She was born April 21, 1921 in Texas.

Mrs. Brewster died early Friday in the Cleveland Hospital in Cleveland.
Born 20 January 1913, in Nacogdoches County, she was the daughter of John and Mattie E. Turner Partin, was retired from a bindery of Clarke and Coats, and had lived in Ramayor for 12 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Charles E. Brewster of Houston and Merle E. Brewster of Ramayor; four brothers, Jimmy Partin, H. C. Partin, Eugene Partin, and Baraham Partin, all of Nacogdoches; a sister, Mrs. Mary Hart of Ramayor; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral for Basil G. Partin, 75, of Deer Park was held in Pasedena Boulecard Funeral Chapel in Pasadena with Rev. Fred Dawson and Stan Kennedy officiating, both of Sunset United Methodist Church in Pasedena.
Graveside service was held in Pasedena with Rev. Billie Thomas, pastor of Bonita Methodist Church, officiating.
Mr. Partin died Monday, May 23, in Bayshore Hospital in Pasedena.
Born February 24, 1913 in Nacogdoches County, he was the son of Henry W. and Willie Bell Carnes Partin. He was a retired home contractor, formerly operated East Texas Theatre in Cushing, and was a member of Houston Masonic Lodge and Sunset United Methodist Church of Pasadena.
Mr. Partin and Closi Whitaker were married December 24, 1939, and she survives him.
Also surviving are a son, Cary Basil Partin, and a daughter Georgia Kay Wagers, of Deer Park; two brothers, Elmer Dee Partin of Alto and George Max Partin of Houston; a sister, Willie Mae Sitton, of Kountze; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Partin died Monday, August 5, in Pasadena.
Born August 29, 1917, in San Augustine County, he was the son of Henry and Willie Bell Carnes Partin. He was shift foreman for Shell Chemical and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Pasedena, and lived in Corrigan for three years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Inez Youngblood Partin; a son Patrick C. Partin of Pasedena, a daughter Mrs. Nancy Maywald of Deer Park; three brothers Basil Partin of Pasedena; Elmer Dee Partin of Alto; and Duck Partin of Nederland; a sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Sitton of Beaumont; and five grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
King died April 20, 1990 at Nacogoches Memorial Hospital.
Born, April 3, 1905 in Nacogdoches County, he was the son of Martin L. and Mary Etta Muckleroy King. He was a retired foreman at Texas Farm Products, after retirement worked at Commercial Nationa Bank, was a lifetime resident of the county and a member of Knights of Colomubus.
He and Nona Muckleroy were married in 1929, and she survives him.
Also surviving are two sons, Myrth King and Willia Richard King of Nacogdoches; a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Faye Garcia of Laredo; a brother Clayton King of Nacogdoches; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at Cason-Monk-Metcalf Chapel, and visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral for Charles (C.P.) Partin, 28, of Route 5, Box 4000, will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with interment in Sunset Memorial Park.

Mrs. Partin died Sunday, March 5, 1989, in Plum Ridge Subdivision, near Zavalla.
Born March 21, 1960 in Nacogdoches, he was a welder with McGraw Edison and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Partin; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Bob M. Partin; brother Bob Partin; and sister Mrs. Joan Keiffer; all of Nacogdoches.
Pallbearers will be Billy Ross, Joey Ross, Tim Hessman, Brent Boyd, Tom Parker, Eli Montes, Doug Loop, and Perry Skeeters.

MARVIN LEE PARTIN
Funeral for Marvin Lee Partin. 88 of Lufkin will be at 2 p.m. today in Central Church of Christ in Lufkin. The Rev. Howard White, minister of Central Church of Christ, will officiate.
Internment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches.
Partin died Saturday, October 10, 1992 in Memorial Medical Center of Lufkin.
Born March 27, 1904 in Red Oak in Nacogdoches County, he was the son of Cornelius Albert Partin and Lucendy Emilie Anderson. He was a retires self-employed carpenter and rental proprietor. He was an active member of the Central Church of Christ.
He was raised in the Nat Community and attended Nat School. Partin lived in Beaumont for many years; where he worked for the Magnolia Refinery and played saxophone and cornet in the Magnolia Band.
Partin also sold Watkins Products for many years and he was an elder at the Westside Church of Christ in Beaumont before he moved back to Lufkin in 1959.
After retirement, he volunteered at the Texas Forestry Museum of Lufkin.
On November 7, 1923 he and Lillie Mae Vanover were married, and she survives him.
Also surviving are daughters, Gladys Ellis of Lubbock and Joann Conger of Lufkin; brothers Floyd Partin of Jasper, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Godfrey Ellis, Joseph Ellis, Dwight Partin, Ray Partin, Duane Shaw, Lee Shaw, Raymond Trimble and Verdell Morris.
Music will be under the direction of Central Church of Christ.
The family request that memorials be made to Central Church of Christ Building Fund, 711 N. Second, Lufkin, Texas, 75901.

Funeral service for Robert M. “Bob” Partin, age 93, of Nacogdoches, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Firday, October 30, 1998, in Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with the Rev. M.A. Ervin, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, officiating.
Masonic graveside service will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
Mr. Partin died Tuesday, October 27, 1998, in Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. He was born June 26, 1905, in Nacogdoches, Texas, the son of W. H. “Bill” Partin and Annie (Mosby) Partin. He was a retired farmer and rancher and a member of the First United Methodist Chruch.
Robert Mosby Partin joined the Masonic Order on February 2, 1952. He worked his way through the first three drgrees to become a Master Mason and in 1956-57 he served as Worshipful Master for Miliam Lodge No. 2 in Nacogdoches. He was awarded a life membership in 1965 and belonged to Commandry No. 55 after his term as Worshipful Master. He was a Royal Arch Mason and a past Patron of the Eastern Star. In addition he was also a life member of the Knights Templer Eye Foundation.
He and Hazel Hill Partin were married September 29, 1956, in Nacogdoches and she survives him.
Also surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Willia Partin and wife Fairy, of Nacogdoches; sister, Hattie Dow of Huuston; two grandchildren, Joan Mann and Bob Partin; three greadgrandchildren, Charles Richard Loe, Joshua Adam Loe, and Justin Keiffer; three nephews; and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian (Collins) Partin and a grandson, Charles Partin.
Active pallbearers will be members of Masonic Lodge No. 2 of Nacogdoches , Billy Joe Sparks and Joe Biggerstaff.
Visitation eill be from 5 p,m, to 8 p,m, Thursday, October 29.

Died May 1, 1909, at age 67. Burial at Nacogdoches. Born August 10, 1842 in Grundy County, Tennessee. Survived by his wife, Mrs George Partin; 2 sons: one living in San Antonio and one in Oklahoma City; and one daughter, Mrs. Robert Jordan of Nacogdoches. He came to Texas in 1854 settling in Nacogdoches where he lived the rest of his life. He was a confederate soldier, a member of Company A 17th Texas Cavalry.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Partin, 79, of Nacogdoches, will be held 4 p.m. Monday, December 27, 1999, at Laird-McGill Funeral Home, with Rev. M.A. Ervin officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
She was born June 4, 1920, in Nacogdoches to Robert and Lulu Parrish Crossland. A homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, she died Saturday, December 25, 1999.
Survivors include her husband, George Baraham Partin; daughter Mary Ann Rector; son George L. Partin; sister Lorine Boozer, all of Nacogdoches; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
