            Mary L. Partin, daughter of Hannah King and William Partin, was born about 1820 in Tennessee; probably in Coffee or Grundy County. 

            Mary married William Wisener, who was born about 1812-13 in Tennessee and died by 1870 in Nacogdoches County, Texas.  They are listed in the 1850 Census of Nacogdoches County, Texas as can be see below.

I.-1.  WILLIAM M. WISENER

 

            William M. Wisener, son of Mary L. (S.) Partin and William Wisener, was born about 1843 in Texas.  His date of death and place of burial is not known at this time.

            He served in the Confederate States Army in Co. H., 4th Regt., Texas Cavalry and according to his military records was, "In El Paso Hospital with rubeolae May 22 and left behind, taken prisoner and paroled September 1, 1862."

            In the 1850 Census of Nacogdoches County, Texas he is living at home with his parents and brothers and sisters.

            Not long after the taking of the 1860 Census the War between the States broke out and Richard enlisted in the Confederate States Army in Co. H., 4th Regt. of the Texas Cavalry.  His Military records on file in the Texas State Archives state:

 

"Admitted El Paso Hospital with typhoides and erysepelas June 1 and died 30 July 1862"

 

Richard P. Wisener died on 30 July 1862 at El Paso, Texas and is buried in El Paso, Texas.

            Gabrella evidently had children from a previous marriage who used are listed under the name Wisener in the 1900 Census.

            Nancy L. Wisener, daughter of Mary L. (S.) Partin and  William Wisener, was born about 1848 in Texas.  It is not know what happened to Nancy L. Wisener; she appears in both the 1850 and 1860 Census  of Nacogdoches County, Texas, as seen below, but does not appear in the 1870 Census.  There is not marriage records for her in Nacogdoches County, nor a tombstone in any Cemetery.

            He married Nettie Ellen Rightmer, on 24 May 1894 in Nacogdoches County, Texas.  Nettie was born 26 July 1875 in Texas and died 5 April 1946.  She is buried in the Douglass Cemetery in the Douglass Community of Nacogdoches County, Texas.

            William died 16 July 1947 and is also buried in the Douglass Cemetery in the Douglass Community of Nacogdoches County, Texas.

            Joseph Franklin Wisener, son of Cynthia Anna F. Rogers and Sidney N. (L?) Wisener, was born 4 July 1885 in Texas.  He died on 30 October 1971 and is buried in Holly Grove Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, Texas.

            He married Miss Celey Bolton-Paskill, daughter of Eliza Gage and Henry Bolton who was born 19 January 1885 and died 9 January 1955 and is also buried in Holly Grove Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, Texas.

            Herbert Madison Wisener, son of Nettie Ellen Risinger and William M. Wisener, was born 14 July 1907 and died 24 December 1970 in Jacksonville, Cherokee County, Texas and is buried in the Douglass Cemetery in the Douglass Community of Nacogdoches County, Texas. 

            He was a Veteran of World War II and married Inez McCarty.

            James M. Wisener, son of Isabella A. Christian and Romelus E. Wisener, was born 2 January 1877 in Nacogdoches County, Texas.  He died 29 November 1950 and is buried in the Old Union Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, Texas.

            He married Miss Sarah Ella Clifton, daughter of Martha Campbell and Robert E. Clifton; they were married 11 December 1902.  Sarah was born 27 September 1883 and died 11 September 1966 and is buried beside her husband in the Old Union Cemetery; Nacogdoches County, Texas.

            Georgia Wisener, daughter of Isabella A. Christian and Romelus E. Wisener, was born 28 November 1881 in Nacogdoches County, Texas and died 9 May 1970.  She is buried in the Friendship Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, Texas. 

            Georgia married Lawrence Furra, who was born 9 September 1884 and died 18 July 1950 and is also buried in the Friendship Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, Texas.

            Lucy Lenore Wisener, daughter of Isabella A. Christian and Romelus E. Wisener, was born 16 December 1886 in Nacogdoches County, Texas.  She died 14 August 1956 and was buried in the Old Union Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, Texas.

            She married Rufus King.

            Romulous A. Wisener, son of Isabella A. Christian and Romelus E. Wisener, was born 12 July 1888 in Nacogdoches County, Texas.  He died 3 August 1953 and is buried in the Old Union Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, Texas.  He served in the Army as a Texas Pfc. Co. A. 360 Infantry 90th Division World War I.

            He married Nan T._______, who was born 9 November 1878, and died 1 February 1955 and is also buried in the Old Union Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, Texas.

I-3.-1.-5. THOMAS HUBERT WISENER

 

            Thomas Hubert Wisener, son of Nettie Ellen Rightmier and William Wisener, was born 14 December 1904 in Nacogdoches County, Texas.  He died 5 January 1984 in Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches County, Texas, and is buried in the Redland Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, Texas. 

            Thomas married Miss Hazel _________.

            The Daily Sentinel, the Nacogdoches paper, published the following obituary for Thomas.

 

THOMAS HUBERT WISENER

 

            Funeral for Thomas Hubert Wisener, 79, of Route 1, Cushing, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Lonneyville Union Church with interment in the Redland Cemetery.

            Officiating will be the Rev. Billie Thomas of Cushing and the Rev. Leamond Dearmond of Nacogdoches.

            Mr. Wisener died Thursday, January 5, in Medical Center Hospital.

            Born December 14, 1904, in Nacogdoches County, he was the son of William and Nettie Rightner Wisener.  He was retired for the last eight years in Lilbert and was a member of the Lonneyville Union Church.

            Surviving are his wife, Hazel Wisener of Lilbert; three daughters, Evelyn Revere of Beaumont, Melba Stripling of Cushing, and Elizabeth Arriola of Nacogdoches; two brothers, Truitt Wisener of Forest and Mack Wisener of Hawaii; three sisters, Winnie Wood of Millersville, Virgie Jones of Sacul, and Lillie Belle Davis of Dayton; and 18 grandchildren.

            Pallbearers will be Boots McLain, Larry Stripling, Ronnie Arriola, Edward Revere, Bonnie Wisener, and Ted Wisener.

            LUTICIA "BLAINE" WISENER, daughter of Isabella A, Christian and Romelus Emmit (Earnest) Wisener, was born 18 January 1873 in Nacogdoches County, Texas and she died 16 September 1941 in Nacogdoches County, Texas.  She is buried in the Alazan Cemetery in the Alazan Community of Nacogdoches County, Texas.

            She married William J. "Bill Christopher, who was born 21 November 1872 and died 18 March 1946 in Nacogdoches County, Texas.  He is also buried in the Alazan Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, Texas.
