| Wild Horses |
| In this episode a drover is bringing horses into town to sell. 3 hombres fire on him and spook the |
| horses. Jack is on the porch telling Clive "Sundays are fer sleepin'", when the stampede comes |
| through town. |
| Jackson Clay decides to hold the auction the next day. |
| "Ain't they beautiful Lucy?" |
| Jack overhears Willie tell Lucy how much he wants a horse. The marshal only has $12 so he asks |
| Clive to loan him some money. |
| Between them they have $30. |
| "That's mighty fatherly isn't it Jack?" |
| that make a boy a man." |
| Jack scowls: "A horse and a gun, I'd sooner see him with a mount under 'im before he straps a |
| The next morning Jack bids $10 on the first horse, the bid quickly goes past $30. |
| Jackson clay realizes what Jack is trying to do, when |
| the next horse (a paint) comes up, Jack bids $30. |
| Wendell yells "Do I hear 35?!" |
| "Willie come get yer horse son." |
| "Thanks marshal!" |
| At that moment 3 hombres ride into town claiming Jackson stole their horses. There is a scuffle |
| and Jackson hits one of the hombres (killing him). Clive arrests him. |
| Jack ain't too pleased. |
| Couteau and Bennett backtrack Jackson's trail. They discover that Jackson has told the truth. |
| Before anyone can answer, Jackson yells, "Sold!" |
| The horses are impounded. |
| Meanwhile... Willie over hears the two hombres talkin' about stealin' the horses and killin' the |
| marshal if he gets in the way. |
| Bennett & Couteau arrive in time to see the marshal being dragged inside the detachment. |
| Willie gets his horse back. |
| "Don't move Willie!" Jack shouts. |
| Jack is happy 'cause Willie's happy. |
| "I'm not sure I want to hear this Jack." |

| "Look Clive, the way I figure it there two things |
| gun to his side." |
 |

| Willie tells the marshal to be careful...Jack tells Willie to stay put! |
 |
 |
| There is a shoot out in the street, Jack kills one |
| of the hombre's...but the other one flanks him. |
 |
| A terrified Willie raises his hands |
| as the hombre waves his gun at him. |
| The hombre handcuffs Craddock and forces him to his knees. As he points the gun to the back |
| of the marshal's head, Jackson shoots the man from his cell....with his guitar! |
 |
| Willie digs in Craddock's pocket for the handcuff keys. |
 |
| Jack is amazed. |
 |
 |
| Jackson Clay explains how he rigged his guitar with a gun. |
| Then he rides off into the sunset...... |
