Snap Shot
Kevin O'Shean and his apprentice (George) are taking pictures of scenery outside of Bordertown.
O'Shean goes back to the wagon for something and finds the driver (Boise) with silverware and
jewellery that belonged to their last client. Boise shoots O'Shean and then turns the blame on
George (who spent time in reform school for stealing). George runs away, but is wounded.
Jack asks Clive to read the notice he got from Deputy Hubert...Jack has to meet the deputy
outside of town and bring a prisoner back to Bordertown to hand over to the mountie.
Willie comes in, "You ready to go fishin' marshal?"
"Sorry son I can't do it, I got business I gotta take
care of."
"Look Willie, we'll do it when I get back."
Jack asks Clive if he can pick up the prisoner. Clive tells him he can't interfere in a deportation
order.
After the marshal leaves,Boise comes in to report O'Shean's murder.
Willie and Lucy go fishing, he is bragging about the 20 pounder he caught, when they find
George lying on the shore.
He tells Lucy & Willie that he witnessed a murder.
to Bordertown because Boise will say he did the
murderin'. Willie tells George that marshal
Craddock is his friend and he'll listen. George still
refuses to talk to the law, but will go back to town with them if Willie & Lucy promise to hide him.
Jack takes control of the prisoner, who is talking non-
stop (in an Irish accent) about "the cause" and the
"law being a corrupt society of outcasts....."
Jack looks at Hubert, "I owe you one."
As Jack and the prisoner head for town the prisoner is still talking...and talking...
As Willie George and Lucy try to sneak into Bordertown, they are spotted by Boise who shoots at
them. Clive hears the shot and comes running.
Willie and George run off, Clive tells Lucy to go to
Marie's. Boise whispers to Lucy, "You tell anyone the
truth and you're dead."
Willie and George hide in the shack behind the detachment. After dark Willie sneaks into Marie's
and takes her medical bag. Lucy catches him and insists she can help George.
