| The marshal brings in an armload of firewood and gets tangled in Clive's fishing line. |

| Five hombres are in the street,"One of you marshal Jack Craddock?" |
| "Yer talkin' to 'im." |
| One of the hombres, a real ugly dude with a mouthful of tobacco, looks over the marshal. |
| "Just wanted a good looky see." and he spits. |
| "You should try playin' with that thing outside, in water... yeah, fish 'r jus' crazy about it." |
| They hear a voice yell from outside; |
| The hombres walk to the saloon. |
| "Get yer pen & paper Clive, send a telegraph to the marshal in Scott's Bluff, find out the |
| The lawmen find nothing in the wanted posters to tell them who these men are. |
| He has received word from the marshal in Scott's Bluff. The body of Three-fingered Jack was |
| turned in and the reward money collected by the man who killed him, marshal Jack |
| Craddock of Bordertown. |
| "Why would anyone wanna pretend to be me"? |
| "That IS a mystery Jack." |
| "You know this three fingered fella Jack"? |
| "Only by reputation, he rode with a murderous gang by the name 'a Nebraska Lightnin'." |
| "Scott's Bluff, I ain't been there in over ten years." |
| "You some kinda deputy boy?" |
| "North West Mounted." |
| "Never heard of it." |
| Zac tells Clive he overheard them,"Somethin' about the marshal havin' killed a man by the |
| name of three fingered Jack over in Scott's Bluff two months ago." |

| Clive goes out back and returns with a sign. "In the meantime Jack, we'll use this...blinded yet?" |
| Jack goes to the saloon and nails a notice to the wall. |
| He clears his throat, "Ah, in ah, compliance... |
| ah..that means carryin' weapons here in town...I'm |
| askin' ya to place yer iron over here on the bar..." |
| Everyone listens but the hombres. "My iron's right here, come and get it marshal." |
| Clive walks in just as the gang is about to draw on Jack . |
| They tell the lawmen they were just leaving town. |
| The lawmen are joined by Marie and Liam. |
| uhm...with...uhm...the new town....ordinance..... |
| "Do you know them Jack?" |
| "Can't say's I do Marie." |
| "They seem very interested in you." |
| "I ain't none too flattered." |
| Clive heads to the saloon to see what he can find out. |
| "Well we can't arrest them until they do something, |
| the trouble is...you may be dead by then." |
| "You know Clive, sometimes the shine 'a yer mind |
| near blinds me." |
| The next morning Jack is watching the hombres practice their draw when Clive interrupts him. |
