| Four hombres, Denzil, Lamarr, Tobias and Ray, murder a cowboy outside of town. |
| They ride into Bordertown aiming to get rid of the law and then rob the bank. Denzil orders |
| Lamarr to go to the Marshal's office and tell him about the dead cowboy he found on the trail. |
| (While the Marshal is gone to retrieve the body, they will hit the bank). |
| When Lamarr enters the office, he is surprised to find Corporal Bennett, an old friend |
| of his deceased father, is now a lawman in Bordertown. |
| Marie sees the young men heading for the bank with their guns drawn. |
| She runs to the detachment to tell Clive....who confronts the robbers as they leave the bank. |
| The Next Day: |
| The gang shoots Clive and drag his lifeless body into Marie's store. Marie, who is joined |
| by Jack at the detachment, says she thinks Clive is dead. |
| Jack reassures her, "He ain't dead Marie 'else they |
| A gun fight ensues , Marie reloads as Jack shoots from the window of his office. |
| to help the mountie, what he really plans to do is use her as a shield so he can make a run for it. |
| He orders Jack and Zack to get their horses. |
| Lamarr has a change of heart and decides to help his father's old friend and the doctor. |
| Marshal Craddock arrests the hombres and takes them to jail. |
| And Bordertown is safe for another day. |

| Clive is sweeping the floor while Jack complains he's |
| getting dust in his coffee... "Can't you do that outside?" |
| Marie comes to check on the condition of a prisoner. |
| He pretends to be looking for directions, Clive thinks he recognizes the boy and follows him |
| outside....where Lamarr accuses Bennett of killing his father. Clive tries to explain what happened |
| but the boy isn't interested in his explanation. |
| Zack sneaks in the back door with the doctor's medical bag just as Denzel sends for Marie |
| Inside the store, Clive talks to Lamarr. |
| He shows him the letter of comendation |
| he recieved for trying to save Lamarr's |
| father, who was a scout for the mountie's. |
| But Lamarr can't read.... |
| Marie reads the letter out loud. |
