| In Cold Blood |
| Don Carlos, his driver and two young men are on the trail heading to Bordertown. Don Carlos has |
| accused the two men of stealing money. He shoots one of them and the other confesses. The |
| marshal and the mountie are nearby and hear the shot, they hurry to the scene. Don Carlos sends |
| the second young man away and tells him to say nothing to the law. |
| Clive tells Carlos and the driver to drop |
| Jack recognizes the man who murdered |
| his family. He shoots Don Carlos in the arm. |
| Don Carlos and his driver are taken to Bordertown for questioning in the shooting of the |
| young man. |
| At Marie's, Don Carlos tells the mountie he was within his rights to shoot the young man who |
| stole from him. Clive tells him as soon as he is able to travel he must leave town. |
| Jack tells marie not to waste too much time doctorin' |
| "Soon as yer done I'm gonna kill 'im anyway." |
| Don Carlos tells Marie that "Your friend murdered my son". |
| She replies, "You killed his wife and little girl." |
| Carlos explains, that Jack's family was squatting on his land, "it was within my rights." |
| Clive tells Jack he has to put this behind him. |
| "Seven riders arrive in the middle of the night and shoot 'em dead in their beds, I come home ta |
| find their lifeless bodies....how am I supposed ta put it behind me?" |
| Later, Don Carlos is seen talking to the hitman he has hired to kill Craddock. |
| But Vince wants the money up front, |
| the money however, is locked in Jack's desk. |
| He runs into Craddock and strikes up a friendly conversation. |
| Vince tells Jack he is waiting for a job. |
| "Just waiting for the money to come through." |
| Clive escorts Don Carlos and his driver out of town as Jack rushes back to the detachment. |
| "Who stole the money? Bennett?" |
| Marie doesn't answer him. "Marie you fool!" |
| "There was a man waitin' on that money in the |
| saloon, now I gotta kill 'im, or him me." |
| Jack kills Don Carlos' hitman. |
| As Jack catches up to Clive (who is driving the wagon), he sees Don Carlos' dead body inside. |
| Three cheers for the mountie! |
| Get yer kleenex's out compadre's - here it comes! |
| Jack is looking at a picture of his wife and daughter as he tells Marie and Clive about his family. |
| "I was 25 years old when I married Juanita, her smile alone washed away everythin' I saw in the |
| Civil war. Then Sarah Ann came along and, Well, Jack Craddock coulda up and died and gone |
| ta heaven right there and then. She woulda been a pretty woman now. Knowin' he's dead don't |
| make it any easier, my heart still falls everytime I thinka them." |
| their weapons. |
| Clive must restrain the marshal. |
| Don Carlos wants his money...Jack refuses. |
| "The woodpecker here plays it by the book, but if ya |
| care ta cross that line...we can discuss it." he tells |
| Don Carlos, as he pats the gun at his side. |
| Vince decides to spend some time in the saloon while Don Carlos figures out how to get his |
| money back. |
| Meanwhile, Marie jimmies the lock on Jack's desk. |
| She hopes Don Carlos will leave town when his money |
| is returned to him. |
| But Don Carlos has other ideas! |
| Just then, a saloon girl sets a money bag on |
| the table and tells Jack's new friend that |
| "This money has just arrived for you." |
| Jack recognizes the pouch and knows what the money is for. |
| Clive tells Don Carlos he will escort him from Bordertown, and he must leave town immediately. |
| .....and back at the saloon....... |
| Grabbing his rifle and shells, he turns to see Marie. |
| Jack corners Vince in the livery stable. |
| Meanwhile Clive is in trouble. Don Carlos |
| and his driver have turned their guns on him. |
| ......back in Bordertown........ |
| And goes after Clive. |
| Unknown to the marshal, Clive has taken |
| control of the situation. |
| Later that evening, the three friends gather at the detachment. |
| Craddock tells his friends he'd like to be |
| "left alone fer a spell." |
| Jack presses the photo of his family against his lips and tries to hold back his tears. |
| They bid him goodnight and leave. |
