A Brand of Justice
The Rancher's Association is in Bordertown trying to convince Henry Jordan to join. It seems
most of the other farmers refuse to join unless he does. Jordan refuses. Association members,
Slade and Willis talk to two of Jordan's former employees at the saloon.
Henry is hit over the head during the robbery.
Clive is mad.
"I want those men hung marshal, do you hear me?!"
"That Jordan attracts enemies like a dog
Slade and Willis ride out to where the thieves are hiding. BUT instead of paying them, Willis
Clive: "These ranchers can't even share a stream, how are they going to form an association?"
Slade hires the two men (McKenny & some unnamed dude) to steal Jordan's horses.
Marie tells the lawmen to leave.
"Someone stole my horses last night, what're you
going to do about it? It was probably Canadians."
attracts fleas don't he?"
In the saloon later, Jordan tells Slade the marshal will handle it. Slade replies," We'll get yer
horses back if  you join the association." Henry agrees.
shoots them, then he turns the gun on Slade wounding him in the arm. "Now it'll look like self
defense."
Back in town, Slade and Willis are in the Livery showing off the bodies of the thieves .
"You ain't above the law Jordan!"
When the lawmen come in, Jordan tells Craddock,"You are a might late marshal."
"This man is still alive!"
"I'm awful cute ain't I Clive?"
McKenny tells the doctor that Slade and Willis
hired them to steal the horses.
The ranchers join the Association on Jordan's say so. Willis' them threatens one of the ranchers
who refuses to join. Jordan gets angry.
Marie tells the corporal and marshal McKenny's story.
They head to the saloon to arrest the ombres.
A gunfight breaks out and the lawmen are forced outside. Jordan is taken hostage.
