| Bad Memories |
| Our heroes are out for a ride when they hear gunshots in the distance. As they approach a man |
| lying on the ground (Karl), three "hombres" ride off. |
| (Marie examines Karl and diagnoses him with amnesia). |
| Later, back at the detachment, Clive prepares for an inspection from Superintendant Taylor. |
| "Oh no, I don't have a mustache!" |
| Jack laughs, "In case you ain't noticed ya ain't got no beard neither." |
| (Karl drew a map for the bank robbers showing where they buried the money, when he |
| realized they were thieves he tried to run away). |
| Craddock greets the "General", who sizes him up. |
| "You must be Jack Craddock?" with a look of disgust he adds, "Fascinating." |
| Taylor repremands Bennett for not having a mustache. |
| "It lends an air of authority and maturity, grow one!" |
| "Why is this American "Sheriff" interferring in Canadian business corporal?" |
| "Hold it right there General!" Jack yells at him. |
| "I am Superintendent Taylor!" |
| "Whatever!" |
| Jack & Clive rescue Karl ...Marie is a hostage (again). |
| Meanwhile Karl goes to the saloon for a drink and is kidnapped by the hombres who tie him up |
| (Clive decides to go around back, Jack will guard the front of the house). |
| "Ya know Clive, the last time I seen a hat this it was on a monkey in the circus." |
| (Karl regains his memory and the hombres go to jail). |
| "Thanks Jack, you just wiped out my career in the Mounties". |
| "Yah.. well, any career makes you wear a stupid lookin' hat like that ain't worth it now is it?" |
| Marie saves the day when she delivers a knockout punch. |
| With his pointer,Taylor picks up Jack's wool sock from the marshal's desk. |
| "Why are you sharing your quarters with an American...pack rat?" |
| Jack walks in, throws his saddlebags on the desk , pours a coffee, and proceeds to tell Clive about |
| the German. |
| "Funding is not available for a detachment right now sir." |
| (upstairs), while they go to Marie's to get the map. |
| "Where is corporal Bennett, Sheriff?" |
| "Doin' his job." Jack answers sarcastically. |

| Clive asks the marshal to take a LONG walk...as he leaves, Jack runs into Taylor. |

| Both Bennett and Taylor ignore him. |
| Jack leans in close to Clive and asks, |
| "You gone deaf 'er somethin'?" |
 |
 |
| Taylor arrives to offer Jack his advice... |
| Taylor convinces Craddock to throw down his weapon and appear to be surrendering....while |
| Clive sneaks up on the hombres from behind. |
