Hello, friend,
Born on 24th November 1950
in Cheyyar in Tamil Nadu, Amritha is a Sagittarian. She was born on the auspicious day of Karthikai deepam, which is celebrated in Tamil Nadu , particularly famous in Tiruvannamalai. Her birth star is Karthikai and her birthday is also the birthday of Guru Nanak , founder of Sikhism.
Amritha did her primary schooling in Pollachi and Kanchipuram and completed her secondary and higher secondary education from
St. Anthony's Girls High School, Mylapore. She did her Pre-university and B.Sc. in Physics at Queen Mary's College
in Chennai.
After graduation, she worked for sometime as Demonstrtor in Physics in S.I.E.T College, Chennai. Later she joined the office of Accountant General, Tamil Nadu as Assistant. She resigned this job after marriage as I was posted in Solapur at that time.
Amritha is an excellent cook and can make South Indian and North Indian dishes equally well. She is very affectionate and is liked by everybody. She rarely loses her temper and goes out of her way to help people. Her only weakness is that she cannot control her laughter and will burst out laughing anywhere, but I think the ability to laugh is a gift and not a weakness.

Hobbies- Gardening, Reading, Crossword (Economic Times, Hindu & Express), Listening to Carnatic music and old film songs on TV as well as radio, Writing for the family Newsletter.
Other favourite activities- Pooja, Watching movies in theatre as well as at home , Going to beach, Walking (in early morning)
Hobbies that have been given up - Soap & detergent making (in Vadodara), soft toy making (in Mumbai), Writing 'Mumbai masala' for Kalki magazine.
Favourite ad- Keeps changing, but ones with babies are always liked. Ad for 'chota' Coca Cola (starring Aamir Khan) is the current favourite.
Favourite food Items- Idiyappam with vegetable stew & Coconut milk, All ice-creams
Favourite fruits- All (specially sapota(chiku), grapes and mango)
Favourite Pastime- Talking with family members, playing cards (mail) with family members, Talking on phone with all sisters.
