Business Requirements:

This is a reporting application developed to provide assistance for business analysis and strategic planning to US government agencies for the business done with Sprint Telecom. This application also provides customized and run time report development thru Ad-Hoc module and provides facilities for scheduling and various delivery methods.

Description:

This project fulfills reporting requirements for the end to end business solution portal, “Networx”, which will be used by US government agencies. It includes two main modules, canned (pre-developed) reports and ad-hoc (runtime created) reports. There are more than 120 canned reports and 35 ad-hoc subject areas on which users can create report definitions.

This application also provides interface to schedule all canned and ad-hoc reports for various iterations like hourly, daily, weekly, monthly etc. and can retrieve the report data in various formats like word, PDF, XML, excel, CSV, text files, HTML etc. Users can also select various delivery methods to get the report out put like direct download from web, via e-mail, in printed format or on storage medias like CD, DVD or Meg. Tape etc.

To manage reports and schedules, this application deals with Crystal Enterprise Server 10. Runtime reporting and scheduling are performed using Crystal Report Application Server APIs for Java.

This system is being used by entire base of franchises, dealers, collection & retention agencies in Gujarat.

Description:

The largest in-house developed application by Idea Cellular Ltd. for business associates to perform subscriber related activities.

This application has following modules:

      Subscriber Activity Module: This module is being used by all external users to do customer related activities. That includes, activation of new connection, feature enhancement and removal, payment acceptance, SIM replacement, customer profile viewing, suspension of service, complain logging, sending SMS and many more

      Internal User Audit Module: This module is being used by many internal users for reviewing, approving and rejecting all the requests entered by all external users, dragging all activity reports, broadcasting messages to all users, handling complains

      Finance User Module: This module is being used to carry out all finance related activities like receipt reversal, fetching payment related modules, configuring new bank etc.

      Administration Module: This module is being used by the administrator of the application to do user manipulation activities. That includes, creating a new user in any of the modules, modification of user profile, assigning rights to access different modules etc

      CSA Tracking Module: This module is being used by all franchises and dealers across the state and internal activation team members. This module keeps track of all the activation carried out into the billing system along with all required details like dealer information, customer information etc. This application provides a way to check where a particular CSA (Customer Service Agreement) form lies at a particular point of time. This is a very critical module because it is very crucial for the company to maintain all physical CSA forms.

      Activation Audit Control Module: This module is being used by internal activation audit team. This module provides a way to check all details of a subscriber into the billing system after activation against required benchmark and the facts provided in CSA form. The errors are rectified and logged into this system so that a very useful report of dealers, franchises and other users quality ratings while doing activations. This module also contains a dynamic sub-module for assignment of records to audit to the audit team members.

I got two awards for this application, one for development of Subscriber Activity and other for CSA Tracking Modules.

This system is being used by entire base of franchises & dealers in all idea circles to check & block any mobile number for a new customer acquisition. It manages entire base of mobile numbers along with their status and categories. This application is getting very useful for sales force in order to give customer their choice number status immediately thru SMS.

Description:

This application contains a database of all mobile number those are being used by any customer or can be allotted for usage to a new or existing customer. All external and internal users can check availability of a particular choice number for a new customer at a point of time. If a number is free and can be given to a customer, it can also be blocked by any external user based on the category of the number. The application contains mainly two kinds of user, administrator and normal user. An administrator can perform all number manipulation activities like block number in a batch, changing number categories, message broadcast to all users, configuring a new user etc. A very exiting feature of this application is that a user can check availability of a number and blocking a number thru his mobile with SMS.
