FOND DU LAC SNOWFLYERS SNOWMOBILE CLUB? ??????
Membership in a snowmobile club is a basic step in safeguarding snowmobiling by promoting safe and ethical snowmobiling in Wisconsin, the United States and the World. This is achieved through snowmobile clubs representing you in larger snowmobile organizations, providing snowmobile trails, providing snowmobile training classes, and providing activities for members and their families.
The Fond du Lac Snowflyers are a member club of the:
Fond du Lac County Snowmobile Association
This organization is composed of clubs to coordinate snowmobiling within our county and address the needs of county snowmobile clubs and their memberships.
AWSC
(Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs)
This organization represents all of its members in safeguarding snowmobiling throughout Wisconsin by assisting and monitoring our state government in establishing and administering state
snowmobile law and policy. The AWSC also represents Wisconsin snowmobilers in national and international snowmobile organizations. Our club is a 100% AWSC member, which means that your AWSC membership dues is included in your club membership dues and you receive the Wisconsin Snowmobile News magazine and a $1000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance Policy.
YOU MAY ALSO SAVE SOME MONEY
There is presently a bill in the state legislature to institute a trail user permit for the State of Wisconsin. This bill will provide for club members to pay $20 year less than none club members per sled than non clun mebers. The net result of membership in our club would that a single membership would save $5 and a family membership with 2 sleds would save $25, 3 sleds would save $45 and so on at $20 per sled and also in club membership in the Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Club and all its benefits.
This legislation is in progress due to the fact that clubs provide almost all of the workers that establish and maintain our snowmobile trails in Wisconsin.
WITHOUT SNOWMOBILE CLUBS, THERE WOULD BE NO TRAILS!!!!!!
