Wow, so do you really want to know are you just bored and surfing around? well I guess it really doesn't matter, you took the time to click here so I should put something here. Well here goes.
I believe that all one can ever know is relative to ones frame of reference. This seems obvious but most of the time we make statements and assertions of fact based on our frame of reference without consideration of other frames of reference.
I don't believe that anything can really be "proved", there are things which behave consistently within my frame of reference i.e. if a car hits me it hurts. I believe that apart from this consistency there is no such thing as proof, I was always told a summation was of the form: That based on the evidence available it appears that
Most of this can be summed up in statement from a very wise young man who worked for me for a while. During a conversation we were having on the nature of reality he made the following comment: "all men are men of faith". This struck me and has stuck with me for many years. So for this reason I tend not to argue about the nature of things as they are all relative to our frames of reference and certainly yours may differ from mine.
My frame of reference tells me that there is a spiritual side to my existence as well as the physical. It tells me God exists and because of him so do I. It tells me that just like physical traits spiritual traits may be inherited, and one of the traits we inherited prevents us from ever living up to the potential we were created with. My frame of reference also tells me God cared enough for me to make provision me that one day I could reach my potential, and this was done through the sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ, the only thing I have to do is believe, of course doing so will change your frame of reference. :)
