You know if you are a Parrot Head If...
1- You have ever shot holes in your freezer.
2- You have lost your shaker of salt.
3- You have ever gotten a tattoo but don't remember how you got it.
4- You wish you had a pencil thin mustache and you don't know why.
5- Your vehicle has a great big fin on the roof and a coconut bra in the back window.
6- Your diveway has the sign (A1A Ave.)
7- You get the news (not from CNN but) from the "jungle drums beating".
8- You like your burgers with Heinz 57, a cold draft beer, and sprinkled with lime juice.
9- Were ever you go, you hope there is rum. (& if there is you are the 1st to open it)
10- You and your friends are the people your parents warned you about.
11- You have shown skin to buy a grass skirt at a concert
(a new addition, thanks girls from Alpine Vally 2001; )
12- You and your friends take bets to see who will the Last Man Standing.
13- You are always thankfull the Tiki Bar is open. (& you are usualy the one to close it.)
Soon to come, Pictures of Parrot Heads in action.
Jimmy Buffett has lived the life most of us can only dream about but as any loyal Buffett fan can see, Jimmy's beach style life is not all what it seems to be.  Jimmy has been pumping out albums since the very early 70's at a rate of nearly one a year, all of which are a part of any Parrot Head's collection.  He has also found time to write three very successful books, & I am told is working on a new one , not to mention the childrens books he has written over the years.
Although Jimmy is not what one would call a main stream musician, he has been able to become one of the all time top selling artists in the industry.  Nearly all of his concerts in the states sell out to crazed fans dressed in grass skirts and coconut bras.  Jimmy is truly one of the greatest enertainer / musician / author the industry has put out over the years.

These two great works of fiction is a testimony the talent that this artist has.  His imagination and love for music, sailing, flying, and life are evident in many of the stories found in both of these books.  My hats off to the great Jimmy Buffett.
