The customer called and wanted to place an order for a pan pizza but with less oil. We nicly explained to the lady that it was not possible. We make pan dough by oiling the pan, then rolling out the dough, place the dough in the pan and letting it proof (let the bread rise). So there really is no way of putting less oil on the pan. The lady decides she no longer wants a pan pizza and decides to get breadsticks instead, which are BTW made the exact same way as pan dough is. She gets snappy and says "Less oil!!" After she hangs up Rafeal says to Andy, "I bet you this lady is short and fat trying to go on a diet."
About eight minutes later the food comes out of the oven. For breadsticks there is some oil we are able to control. We have this stuff called "butter oil" that we put on top of breadsticks. Andy proceeds to give her "Less Oil" by slopping it all over the sticks and overflowing off of the sides. About 5 minutes later the lady walks in the door. SURE ENOUGH She was short, Fat, and of course trying to lose weight. Rafeal almost busted out in tears right in front of her. As soon as she left we all just busted out laughing, Rafeal was right.
Sure you may think this was mean, but often times people are mean to you for absolutly no reason at all. When working at your Job no one wants to be treated like crap or yelled at when they do all of the correct things. So remember be nice to the people that work at any place. If you have a reason to be angry go right ahead, complain that your food was wrong or whatever the reason. Please be nice if there is no reason to be angry.
