This Page is intended to be in Memorial to Duke.    He was the first Hatched of all the babies.

     He was also the friendliest bird we had to date.    He was hatched in the Spring of 1998 in a small brood of three birds.    He lived a happy but short life and died of an infection in the Fall of 2001, at least attaining a ripe age of 3 years and a half. 

   I have felt so guilty of his early death and so sad also that I was unable to think about it until 2 years later.    I felt he should have more of a remembrance than just that.
