It's a sad time for me. That's right. This is my last SmackDown report for 2002 and possibly ever. I don't know who's to blame (the WWE, my cable provider or possibly both) but I am pissed off. Oh well, on with the report.

1. Chavo vs Rikishi - You had to feel bad for Chavito here. Not only did he have to job, but he had to job to a guy we all knew was gonna flatten him. That said, it was a pretty decent match, considering Rikishi's all gimmick, no substance. Way to go, Chavo. Plus he showed us his cute little Latino behind again, though that wedgie must've been bugging him. Oh, and the 'Banzai Drop' or however the hell you spell it, appears to have been renamed the 'Rumpshaker'. That's good to know. Now, do you reckon we can rename the 'Fame-asser' as we should have back when Billy Gunn was censored and could no longer call himself Mr Ass?

2. Bikini contest - no matter what you might think, this was thoroughly entertaining and why? Because, in their efforts to appear less gay, Billy and Chuck actually seemed to me to be more gay. I still wish I looked like Torrie Wilson and hey, maybe with many thousands of dollars spent on plastic surgery, I could! I mean, I'm the same height as her, so that's a start! lol. Speaking of plastic surgery, I'd just like to tell you all that Nidia's ass was a WHOLE lot firmer than it was when they came to Australia. Liposuction, anyone? Still, I had to give the girl props. I'd choose sneakers over heels any day of the week! Oh and here's Jamie Noble. I love him, he's just too classic and the way he and Nidia play off each other to really ham it up just kills me. Oh, and Tazz, 6 + 9 is FIF-teen! That's okay, he's a wrestler. He doesn't need to know simple addition.

3. Impromptu match B&C vs Noble & Tajiri - This was actually really good, for something that quite easily could have stunk the place out (I mean, Billy Gunn was in it ;-P). Congratulations to all involved, especially since the cruisers were half their opponents' size.

4. Funaki goes to find Brock - well, he's braver than I am. Brock's lips are still hot...lol

5. Kurt/Steph/Mysterio promo - oh how I love you, Kurt Angle. His Mysterio promos crack me up every time, especailly how he feels the need to explain the joke after he's said it, just makes it all the more funny. That take he did when Rey appeared was just priceless!

6. Funaki gets the living heck beaten out of him - funny, when you consider what Undertaker did to Matt Hardy later in the show, they still called Brock a bully here. Hmmmm. But yeah, that's more a comment on how much I hate Undertaker than anything else. This was funny as and Funaki makes at least as good a punching bag as Lance Storm.

7. Dawn challenges Torrie - Dawn, you shit me. That's all I have to say.

8. Eddie vs Edge - Interesting choice of tights by Eddie. They look like they've been sprayed on *g*. But, as for the match, I don't think I even have the words to do it justice. I'd heard the hype so I knew I was in for a good one, but at the start I was thinking it'd be ruined by some chick who wouldn't stop screaming. But she shut up by the ad break so I think someone must have shot her. *shrugs* no loss. The ad - yes, we missed a pretty cool spear because the WWE in all its wisdom continues to put ads right in the middle of matches (something I WON'T miss about SmackDown). But yeah, we came back for a frigging outstanding match and one that should make the backstage jackasses Taker and Hunter quake in their boots. Eddie, Edge, Kurt, Benoit and the like are the real talents. You two are just useless wastes of space. I'm pretty sure this one will go down as one of the best matches for the year...and it was free. Unbelievable. But, with the crowd reaction, are we now gonna get an Eddie face turn? Guess I'll have to read future SmackDown reports to find out.

9. Taker vs Matt Hardy - see above. Taker is a damn bully who is still trying and failing at proving his relevance. Mattitude rules all. Then Brocky appears to beat the snot out of our supposed hero, as well he should. Kinda feel sorry when old man Taker stumbles out of the ring refusing help like the moron he is, but I still wish Brocky had finished him off like he did with Hogan. Oh well.

10. Somewhere in here was a Benoit promo so I'm gonna stick it here in the hopes I'm close. Cameraman who shot this promo - give him a raise. Crotch shot, panning up that magnificent body to...aw...black eye :-( But yeah, I was a happy girl. Benny tells us he was born to cause pain. To whom, Benny? Yourself? Others...aw, just give us an evil smirk and off you go. I love that man.

11. Yay! Another Kurt promo - Kurt rules in a big way!

12. Kurt/Benny/Rey Rey - They put this one in just to make me happy on my last SmackDown, I'm sure of it (yeah right, if they really cared they wouldn't be taking it away from me). Great match, though nothing could compare to Eddie vs Edge. Rey Rey wins over Benoit with the West Coast Pop. Yeah, baby. My favourite move on my favourite guy. Everything's cool.

Overall - A
Great show. While it wasn't as jam-packed with stuff as Raw, the stuff it did have was top notch all the way, thus proving that while Raw may have the depth, SmackDown certainly has the talent. I'm gonna miss this show but I'll make the WWE happy with the fact that I'm now gonna have to buy the PPVs just so I can see Benoit, Kurt, Edge, Eddie and Rey. *sigh*

See ya soon for Raw!
