Pictures from Tanglewood

Aleysia, on the last day

Aleysia and Joe, after either her opera scene recital or her vocal recital. I can't remember which. Well, they were both awesome. :-)

Anna and Abe at our second picnic. Abe glared at me because evidently he was averse to having a photo taken at the time.

This time, Abe cooperated. Wasn't that nice of him?

All right, so I find pictures with glaring people amusing. Except Anna didn't really glare very well, and Julia probably didn't even try. Hmph. Spoilsports.

This is the menu at Bev's, the fabulous ice cream shop in Lenox. We went a million times. The Raspberry Chocolate Chip was the best, especially with hot fudge sauce.

Joe and Aleysia, on the last day.

Joe, Austin, and Nathan. We were hanging out outside Groton on the last morning, before parents and taxis arrived to force us away.

Joe, posing as a Composer Type, i.e. wild-eyed, Phillip Glass type of look- the musician version of a mad scientist. The Jew-'Fro certainly helps.

You probably can't tell how bad the pasta and sauce was by looking at these pics, but take my word for it.

Anna and I had to pose for this picture while we waited in line for the Mahler concert.

After the Mahler, the BUTI Orchestra was joined by the Chorus for Shumann's "Nachtlied." It was gorgeous, just like the performance of it the week before.

This is the outside of Ozawa Hall. The only reason for the long line was that all the orchestra and chorus parents were there to pick up their kids that day, so there were many more parents than usual.

Back at the second picnic (which, by the way, was on the Lawn at the Shed), we were having a bit of a camera duel. I got Nathan first!

More of the photo duel- Joe this time.

Here's my dorm room. It connects to Anna's half with an open doorway, which you can't see.
