ParlinArt
This site features the pastel and mixed-media art of Daniel Parlin, a Minnesota artist coming into his own presenting subject images flavored with impressionism and seasoned with a touch of surrealism.
Very Early
Dan's first works were more or less his education.  Without the benefit of formal training, Dan learned by trial and error how to identify and work with color, apply it, and come out with a visualisation worthy to show.

In his earlier works (1975 - 1995) his themes were surreal and his methods were rough.  However virtually every piece, save the few on these pages, have made it to somebody's wall.
