| LAST UPDATED : 30 November, 2002. - Investigation Continues into FoodLocker Theft :: Police Spokesman Says Charges Close - Police from the Major Incident Squad are close to cracking the massive drink-theft case that shook the country last week, says police spokesman David Cox. They say that no charges are pending against two people wanted in connection with the case last week - they have been cleared of any wrongdoing throughout the course of the investigation. After a police raid on a home on Councillor's Avenue in Catalonia State, and a massive seizure from this residence, Mr. Cox says that their officers may have acted too quickly. "We only want to get this solved, and as soon as possible. Most Antiguans are fed up with this, and just want it to be over". According to Minister Marshall, the talks are proceeding well and amiciably. Diplomatic arrangements could be made between the two nations in time, along with a free-trade accord between the two countries.
